Hi there, I'm from a large family, so pretty easy going and laidback. I am reasonably good in the kitchen, and balance healthy with the golden rule of pizza, fish and chips, Indian or Thai takeaway on Friday nights if I'm not going out somewhere. When I get settled again, I will swim, cycle or go to the gym most days in spring and summer or whilst the weather is warm enough. Sunday usually has a round of golf mixed up with it, especially now I am a member of the Kiama Golf Club. I work in a national role, am reasonably well paid so paying rent is never an issue. Because of my role, I am not always home, and when I am, I work relatively long hours. If I have to, parking my car on the street won't be a drama. I've just moved here for a new job, so currently saving a deposit to buy a place of my own. Whilst this occurs, looking for a place to call home for the next 12 months or so. Preference is females to share with, but if you smell and look just as good, who am I to say no. Hi there! Our place in Alexandria will have a room free as of 1st December this year. I’m heading overseas for a few months and can’t bear to see the room go to waste over summer. THE APARTMENT: We are living on the top floor of an apartment complex on Botany Road. There are two rooms, one for my housemate (a practicing physiotherapist) and one for you. The apartment has a spacious living room that opens out onto a huge balcony where the sunset views can be incredible (BBQ provided). The bathroom is modern and there is a laundry room with a washing machine. Off-street parking is available. THE ROOM: Your room is filled with natural light thanks to a big window and a door leading onto the balcony. The bed is a queen and the mattress is amazing. There’s also a bedside table and clothes rack. It has to be said that the room is really quite small (a real estate agent might describe it as cosy…) and there isn’t a whole lot of floor space. But who spends all summer in their bedroom anyway, right? THE AREA: Greensquare station take 10ish mins walking or 2 mins by bus (the bus stop is right in front of the apartment building). From Greensquare it’s just one stop to Central station. Alternatively, the frequent M20 bus can take you into straight into the CBD in about 20ish mins. Walking up to Epson Road (about 5 mins) means you can grab the 370 bus direct to Coogee Beach or UNSW. You’ll have an IGA across the road and getting to Coles and Aldi in Waterloo is also very easy by bus. Need to get somewhere else? Just let me know!
The street is very quiet, it's also very new, so the address doesn't appear on the site, but it is off Government Road. So the house is very spacious, lots of light and you don't feel like you're living on top of each other. There is a decent view out the back and two furnished lounge rooms both with Netflix access and TV. The property is about 10-15 minutes from the shopping center & also Richlands train station. We do have to have all applicants approved with the real estate so please be patient, it will be at their discretion :) There is a washing machine & dryer that you are free to use.
Quiet street and a nice house, close to all shops and the M1, Stan and netflix are also apart of the rent unlimited wifi and all bills included, don't mind a beer but definitely not a party house, ceiling fans and built in wardrobes in all rooms, the room can come furnished or unfurnished whatever works.
