This is a great apartment with a lot of natural light, on the top floor of a small block of flats. I’ve just moved in and it’s had a brand new paint job, carpeting and curtains. While on Riding Road, it’s still a quiet area with the local AFL club across the road. There are 2 bedrooms available, but currently advertising one room, with the potential that the third room MAY be rented out as well, depending on certain things but won’t probably happen for a while/if at all. Can be left for discussion :) You will have your own bathroom, unless the third bedroom is rented out, then it will be shared between the two of you. There’s a washing line out the back of the block of apartments (I think there’s max 8 or 10 units, so not a busy place), but I also have a foldout line that you can use if it’s not already being used. It has a huge kitchen and open living area that opens up to an amazing deck overlooking the fields across the road. The bedroom itself has inbuilt cupboards and fits a queen bed. There is a dual car park, so a space is available in a locked up garage, where there is space for some storage as well. Looking for someone to move into the room who is fun and bubbly, willing to socialise as well as keep to themselves and can clean up after themself.

Current status: We have two rooms available. One bright master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The other one has been the bar room and comes equipped with a sink and has a sliding door to a shaded veranda area dedicated to that room. Please let me know which room you’d be after preferably. Right now the houses’ bathrooms are being renovated completely one at a time. This means there is some construction going on on working days. ETA is end of May. High ceilings and chandeliers everywhere, paired with massive wood all around make the place feel like a nice home, not a hectic hostel. We have a nice front yard and back yard. Great living room with comfy couches and even a projector for the occasional movie evening. The kitchen is, like the rest of the house mostly clean and gives all opportunity for your cooking adventures. Afterwards the dishwasher will do the dirty work for you. We are an easy 10min. walk, both, to the junction with public transport in all directions and to (in my opinion) Sydney's best beach. Bus stop right in front of the house - number 353.

Hey there potential housemates, I'm a botanist about the begin my PhD at La Trobe Uni Bundoora and am looking for a nice place to call home. In my early thirties, I have partied, I have travelled, I have lived on my own and in student sharehouses, and now am looking for a comfortable place where I can focus on my research. My PhD project is somewhat cutting edge. I study medicinal Cannabis from a molecular genetics point of view. The research is estimated to take 3.5 years and during this time I will be receiving a healthy scholarship fortnightly stipend. I also have two casual jobs. One is in the medical Cannabis industry itself, and the other is helping out a friend who owns a furniture restotation business. I also do some TV/film background extras work when I have the time. So I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. At home I'm tidy, respectful, enjoy a chat, and cook most of my meals. I enjoy helping out in keeping the house clean and I always clean up after myself. Of course, I'm always keen to do some gardening! In my own time, I'm a regular at the gym, go for the odd bike ride, watch movies/TV series and sports, and explore things online. Outdoor adventures are my favourite but I probably won't be doing much of that while my PhD is going on. I get along best with open-minded, self-motivated, positive, and passionate people. I'm looking to live with one or two (max) professional types who are pretty stable and grounded. I reliable internet connection is definitely required. I also own a small car, so any type of parking is also essential. I have my own bedroom furniture including a desk. I also own a couch and a near-new 520L fridge if needed. The bedrooms have built-in wardrobes (there is additional storage as well), and noise reduction glass. The complex has allocated secure parking, a building manager, and security key tags and intercom. The apartment is unfurnished throughout (you will only need a bed as the rooms have built-ins) so I will be adding items over time so that the spacious lounge is not an empty sad lot. I am very quiet and tidy. I do have two dogs (greyhounds) who are extremely friendly and love to have a cuddle. I walk them every day, and they sleep the other 23 hours a day. I do work shift work full time in the city at a call centre, so would require someone who is comfortable being home with the dogs for short periods of time if you happen to be home at the same time. I do have almost an entire house of furniture and appliances. I love Star Wars, Batman and Parks & Recreation.
