Hey there, i am an easygoing person and I have lived in long term flat shares on different occasions with different places and people. Currently i am looking for a fully furnished room close to my workplace in CBD area. I am happy to team up for long term lease if you're looking for one. Cheers !
Hey everyone! I'm a student making the big move from Canada to study at the University of Sydney this January (flexible date), and am looking for a new place to call home! I will be in the USYD dental school program, so any other dentistry / med students out there especially - let's chat ! But of course, I am open to meeting others as well. I am excited about this new experience and am hoping to make new friends to go explore the area with! A bit about myself: I have had the experience of living in a shared accommodation (private room/ensuite; shared general areas; males & females) during undergrad and I understand the responsibilities and dynamics that come with it! I find living with cool people that I vibe with, a lot more fun and enjoyable than living on my own. I'm a flexible, easygoing, social, trustworthy, and caring person. I love going out and having a good time with my friends, and value the chill days in too. I appreciate independent time and also respect others'. I am always down for an adventure and a good time and like to joke around and laugh a lot. With that said, I also know when I need to buckle down and hustle - aka the study grind! As your housemate, I will: pay my bills on time, clean up after myself, respect your privacy, respect our shared space, share, be generous in the kitchen (I'll be happy to share what I cook or even cook together), remember to communicate , be understanding and considerate, and contribute to a positive environment. Other random things about me, I also like to: go to the gym, go to the beach, read a good book, toss a football around, binge on tv, watch football & hockey, go to sporting events, go out dancing, go to concerts, go on hikes, go for brunch, check out new cafes/bars, try new things, travel!! Oh and I love (and is almost always) listening to music! && You can trust me to 99.9% of the time - have a fresh pot of coffee brewing each morning. I'd like to meet flatmates that are like-minded; honest, socially active, fun-loving and values a well-rounded work-life balance and responsible work ethic in school. To sum it up, if you're a good person and I sound like someone you'd be down to live with, then shoot me a message! I'm super excited to hear from y'all :)
Hey there, my name is Thalia and I'm from Germany (living in Berlin since more than 4 Years now). I study architecture at a postgraduate level and will do my second exchange semester (Feb 2019 - Jun 2019) at the University of Melbourne. (My first exchange was in 2016 in Barcelona.) I speak german, english and spanish on a fluent level and have quite a lot experience with living in shared flats. These are the facts :P I'm a very social person and enjoy spending time with my friends and flatmates. I like to have nice dinners together or have a nice chat while drinking a glass of wine (or a bottle of beer as the germans prefer :P). In general I'm not a party person though I don't mind a good party also at home, if you like to give one. I like doing sports (danced ballet for 10 years and now I do fitness and yoga mainly). In terms of cleaning I like clean places, but I am not a cleaning maniac. Above all I'm a very chilled, optimistic person, who can adapt to nearly every situation and enjoys to meet new people and cultures.

I am from Canada and I am moving to Sydney to pursue my Masters of Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney. I love to travel and I am excited about this new experience! I am hoping to make new friends to explore Sydney and other parts of Australia with! I love the beach! I am an active individual and I like to go to kickboxing classes for exercise. I am very social and I like to go out on the weekends. I also love to cook and bake healthy food! I am a clean, organized, and considerate flatmate. I do appreciate my own alone time and respect others'. I am looking for an easy-going and friendly atmosphere. I would like to meet flatmates who are also students and are social and out-going, but who maintain a good work-ethic when it comes to school. I would like to live near the Camperdown/Darlington campus, as well as the train line. I am looking to move into a place in early February 2019.
*** Super reliable around all money matters and keeping the scene clean!!! ***. As a uni-educated professional with a busy work schedule, my three core needs are: 1. Living with a positive, happy and ethical person/s 2. Generally a quiet/peaceful non-party household ...but I embrace our need to celebrate certain life milestones and how an element of fun adds zest to life :) 3. That the bedroom does not become excessively hot in summer or has air-con or other effective heat abatement measures eg shade screens, or good breezy ventilation. I hail from Sydney's east but have lived in Melbourne's St Kilda, Victoria's Macedon Ranges and for the last 6 years in Kingscliff/Casuarina in Northern NSW....looking to move to QLD to accept a new senior full-time role, ironically enough in the property industry :) Happily willing to put in the effort to keep the home feeling like home: I am clean, considerate and conscious of shared space and the needs of my fellow home mates! You will find I am generally quiet and hold each person's right to privacy in the highest regard, however as a frequent traveler, I have a wide variety of interests paired with a great sense of humor - after all, life's too short to be too serious so I love sharing a story and a chuckle or two. While I'm no 'Masterchef' I am more than happy to experiment in the kitchen and cook up a meal for the household from time to time. For fun I have contemporary tastes in music, photography and design, love technology and catching the odd film or two. I'm into living an active, fitness and health-oriented lifestyle with cycling, hiking, surfing and even latin-dancing on my recreational list. PS I'm free of extreme political views or ideologies, but I do care about the health of our planet and am more spiritual (think Yoga) than religious.

Large room ($200 p/w) available from 13 Nov (short term ~3 months; long term options available) THE HOUSE I recently purchased a lovely 5 bedroom house with heaps of living space and am looking for another friendly, relaxed and respectful housemate to share it with. Just minutes walk from trams, trains, buses and shops. Amenities include a lovely back garden, ducted heating, two reverse-cycle air conditioners, separate laundry, ornamental fireplaces, polished floorboards, gas-plumbed built-in barbeque, big garden shed ABOUT ME I'm a 34 year old male professional, have had many positive house sharing experiences over the years and decided instead of renting out my new property to a large family, I might as well move into it myself, fill it with some friendly housemates and enjoy it. I also like the idea of having an international household because I find a bit of variety keeps things more interesting. Currently there are 5 of us in the home, all Caulfield Monash students. (2 guys, 3 girls) Cheers, Justin

I am moving back to Sydney after living in Canada for the past two years and Brendan is coming to brave the spiders from Canada on a Working Visa. We are both very friendly, fun, clean people who love a glass of wine. We love cooking and sharing our food with friends and bonus Brendan is 6'5 so he can reach all the top cupboards. I work in Media an have been working for a Radio station in Vancouver for the past two years so will be looking for something similar when I get back to Sydney and Brendan is in marketing and will be looking fo the same when he arrives. Looking for a fun, friendly environment to call home.

I'm an America here for 2 more years (I wish more, but tell that to immigration, womp womp), trying to find my way back into the inner west. I have yet to give my notice at my current location, which is 3 weeks, so the place I'm looking to move into needs to be available around the first week of December. I keep to myself for the most part but I'm social enough that you won't worry about there being a dead body in the room and I'm certainly open to recapping the week over a wine or tea, I clean up all my messes (and I have too much experience cleaning up other people’s messes), and I always pay rent on time. Heck, even early if I can't pay on the scheduled day. I just won't suit a large sharehouse--I find things tend to stray into chaos when there's more than 3-4 unrelated people living under one roof. Currently I live with a married couple, renting a room in their recently acquired apartment. It's new and snazzy but it's expensive and in a sad, bleak part of Sydney. They have been great to live with (the best people I've ever rented from), but I need to find a cheerier place. Thanks for reading and lemme know if what you've got fits! PS: My budget is listed as 280--for me this means all up, all bills, up to 280/week. Additionally, as I am a foreigner, I would GREATLY prefer a furnished place, at least just with a double/queen bed--I don't want to be stuck trying to sell off furniture. PPS: Feel free to ask me about the time I used to live in Glebe with a hoarder who managed to infest the house with fleas while we had no pet. I noped out of that fast and lost so much money in the process. It would explain to you how much of a legend flatmate I am and my perseverance in times of adversity. But really, please, no bug infestations.
Hi I'm from Italy and I'm moving to Sydney. I will arrive the 20 of November and I have a visa working holiday, so I'm looking for a private room and a job. I'm very polite and sociable with everyone, I'm clean and I like that everything is in order. I don't smoke. I like cooking Italian dishes or cookies and cake. What else?! I enjoy to hang out.
