I'm a Japanese guy who want to study English and work in Melbourne with working holiday visa. I graduated an art college and I did oil painting, print, and photography. drawing, painting pictures and taking photography are still my life work. Now I work as an Art teacher in a public high school here in Japan. I'm going to quit soon. It would be great if I could find someone can share fun time like watching movies, going outside and so on after school or job. I generally like listening to people. I like chilling out inside, also I like going outside and dancing and singing. This is going to be my first time to live in a different country and cultures. So, all I can say is I can tidy myself and I like clean environment.
Fun and tidy sisters. Respectful and considerate as housemates. We love food !! And wine! Platters are our thing! And wineries. The list goes on! MELISSA - I'm an Accountant in SE suburbs. Busy with work during the week and enjoy relaxing at the end of the day be it with Netflix, a book or some trashy TV. I'm also studying my CPA and like to study on the weekends when the house is somewhat quiet. Love my coffee and searching for the best good panna cotta at brunch! MELINDA - I'm a beauty therapist/educator and run a small business in Richmond and also work part time in the Bayside area. Love a good walk at the end of the day (if I don't work late) and relax in the evenings. Weekends are spent working out, catching up with friends, exploring new cafes and of course, coffee! We are searching for someone who has similar interests that has 2 bedrooms available. Our budget is $250 max including bills. We have a fair amount of furniture, white goods and appliances if required. Please message via this site only. Look forward to hearing from you :)
Tidy, organised and a positive person. I’ve lived on the Mornington Peninsula for 8 years, but my work has recently moved to Cheltenham. I enjoy the beach, working out, music festivals, dance and love dogs.
I'm a Developer working full time in Richmond, grew up in rural NSW and have been living in Melbourne for 10 years. Really easy going and tolerant guy, always keen for a chat but can also keep to myself. Aware of etiquette, always cleaning up after myself and always down for a bit of banter. Other than that, I love to cook, exercise, and read just about anything on the web! Tagging along with me will be a lovely outdoor-only Siberian Husky who is super friendly and would get on well with everyone.
I'm Thomas, 22 years old. I come from Britany, in France. I'm cook and pastry chef. I plan to settle in Melbourne where I also undertake to find a job. In accordance with French people reputation I don't master english very well but I really intend to improve. I'm cool, very flexible and respectful. I am volonteer to help around the house. Even if I I'm not a player, I enjoy watching sport. I also like good food, it may be an occupational tic.

Hello dear reader. The reason I am looking for rent and a flat mate is because Melbourne prices for a single person is out of control and I cannot justify or sometimes afford to spent so much money on my own. That is why it would be great to find like minded people to share a roof over our heads. A couple of things about me: I am 30 years old, work full time. Hobbies: Sport, Movies, Video games. In regards to house hold I am neat and tidy person, I would prefer to live with people that respect others and willing look after the place together and be a team player.
Hi folks, I'm a fairly laid-back Canadian that is moving from the UK to Melbourne on the 26th of May, to start work in solar cells at Monash. I'm currently looking for a short-term lease, in order to give me time to find a flat. I'm a quite relaxed roommate, who respects anyone's privacy, but also likes to go out and have a few social drinks with anyone who is up for it. I heard Melbourne is quite cultural, and I'm quite keen to experience the city. I enjoy rock-climbing, hiking and running, if anyone is interest to tag along.
I'm a 34 year old Male with a professional career and who enjoys a busy lifestyle. I work Monday - Friday and have commits on the weekends, so I will in and out. I'm very courteous and respect peoples space, but also enjoy being social. I would describe myself as very easy going and enjoy healthy living. For leisure I enjoy the gym, love the beach, being outdoors and hanging out with friends and family.
Hi. I'm Shahram 38 yo. I'm very easy going, clean and tidy. I'm after a place to call it home. I respect other ppl's privacy but also happy to share a meal and have some chats even outdoor activities if you like. I have a full time professional job and just finished my master degree. I have a car and a parking spot would be essential. I love cats and puppies but not indoor, so I can't join if you have indoor pets. Looking for a FURNISHED one with PRIVATE BATHROOM. Thanks.
I'm a clean, responsible housemate, looking for a share house the same. I'm pretty quiet during the week, as I work long hours, but enjoy a nice chat about anything. Don't mind a few drinks and socialising during the weekends
Hi housemate hunters! I'm looking to rent a room in a sharehouse. I'm a friendly, responsible guy and have lived in sharehouses around Melbourne for many years. I work as a researcher at Melb Uni and also a telephone crisis counsellor. I'm pretty busy with my interests (Brazilian jiu jitsu, acting in short films, hitting the bars, weekends away). But I do enjoy being able to come home to a relaxed house. I enjoy getting to know my housemates, and it's also important to take care of the place, be flexible, and respect each other's privacy and space. I'm ok with pets too.
Hey! Looking for something more affordable than my current place. I work full-time in corporate so am out of the house from 7-5 throughout the week - looking for another young professional(s) who lives a similar lifestyle (and also loves wine. V important.) I'm friendly and sociable, love a chat after work, and dinner/drinks over the weekend. I do also appreciate time to myself and am very respectful of others' space and privacy. I've lived in several share house/communal settings over 4 years so I'm not unfamiliar with it. :) I am trustworthy, reliable, considerate and super tidy - being conscious of energy consumption from a cost perspective is really important too - so please only reach out if you share the same priorities! I have 2 beautiful ragdoll cats: a 3yo female and male kitten. They’re 100% housetrained and indoor-only, and so clingy and affectionate! They have co-existed with dogs in the past with no issues. ALSO -- Looking for a longer-term stay only (12 months+); hoping to be settled as soon as I find the right place and company! Ideally - I'd have my own bathroom and somewhere off-street to park my car. More than happy to team up if our budgets, lifestyles and move-in dates were around the same. Flick me a message if you're interested in catching up and chatting more. Cheers! :)
I am a respectful professional looking for a short term rent whilst I work full time in Melbourne and before I travel back tonengalnd for 6 weeks in mid-August.
I am a 27 year old working professional and I am looking for a place in an existing home or to team up with a like minded individual to make a home. By 'home', I mean a place we can come to relax and unwind after work, a place that is clean and comfortable, with a warm and friendly housemate (or 2) that like to have a chat and share a meal occasionally. Although I love to have a good relationship with my housemate, I also value privacy and would expect the same. In my spare time I am either working out, meeting friends or having fun with my pup. He is a small, house trained dog who has been with me in my past two rentals without an issue. He comes with a great reference letter from previous landlord too. He is completely non shedding, so you get to have all the doggo fun, without getting covered in fur! If you think you have a place for me, or if you'd like to team up, please let me know! Looking forward to hearing from you.
I am an open minded and young at heart Social Worker and am moving from Adelaide to Melbourne to work in homelessness in St Kilda. I am clean and tidy & have a good understanding of housemate ediquette as I have lived with many people from all over the world. I like to share dinners/watch films with housemates sometimes but also give my roommates space.I have grown out of the whole party stage, dont smoke or do drugs but do enjoy a glass of wine. I am community minded and enjoy travel, music, human rights, dinners with friends, meditation, salsa dancing, the arts, board games and films. I love Melbourne and am looking foward to finding some chill housemates (mid twenties to late 30s) to share with.I am flying into Melb on 26th may and hope to find a place by 3rd june. Richmond, Prahan etc would be ideal but I also have friends in the Kensington area. p.s I cook a mean daal.
I have worked and lived with many different people in my life. I have a WWCC and work in the youth field. I enjoy gardening and watching way too much tv series. I believe open communication is helpful when living successfully together.
I'm a 30yo guy looking for some awesome, friendly flatmates to live with long term. I work as a chef, without the chef hours, so no late nights and more cooking for you! (Favourite thing to cook? Tacos)... I'd love to find a place thats chilled out, mature, clean and has a half decent kitchen ;) I'm a social introvert, i love meaningful, engaging conversations with people, over wine or tea but need to maintain a balance between having fun and relaxing with a movie, book or meditating..i don't really watch TV but Im pretty easy going. If there's ever any wind i'll be down in St. Kilda kitesurfing and I'm also taking up pottery classes on Sunday. I have a broken banjo that i don't play, and I've also stopped going to salsa classes, but i could definitely be persuaded to start doing both. I'd be looking to find a room for a queen sized bed, but other than that i don't have much else I'm afraid as I've been away travelling for a few years.....just a few indoor plants and a taco press....for making our own tacos...obviously. I sometimes wee in the shower and I'll use up all your bowls and tea towels when i cook, but i hold my values of honesty and reliability highly. Typical INTP if that matters. Look forward to meeting you!
