I’d describe myself as an independent, fun-loving kind of person. I’m generally quiet and keep to myself but then again, I am always down to be social, watch movies, cook and eat together. I like to play music, sing totally terribly, and spend my free time drinking coffee or at the gym. I love all animals, although I will admit that birds kinda freak me out and that I’m allergic (mildly) to cats. However I will give them love and attention anyway, and if you have a doggo, I’d love to walk them!
I’m neat and organised, and will happily clean up after myself and complete any household chores that need to be done.
Like the millennial I am, my phone is always within reach, so I’ll never be hard to contact. I do not have a car currently so I am relying heavily on public transport until I can afford to buy one! So closeness to public transport is an essential.
I grew up in NSW on a property, where my only family still lives, and I have just completed my under-grad in Psychology and Criminology in Brisbane, QLD.
I’m moving to Melbourne for a few reasons including: I want to do my masters in social work at Monash; I have always wanted to live in Melbourne; The best jobs in my field are offered in Melbourne and finally, my long-distance partner also lives in Melbourne. He will be around wherever I live within reason, but please note that he is very respectful, clean and surprisingly funny.
I would love to be able to move in with friendly, down to earth people who can I can become really good friends with. I basically know three people in Melbourne so more friends are MORE than welcome.
I’m planning to move to Melbourne as soon as I can, and I will be free to move in by early to mid- December. I am planning to work full-time upon arrival and begin my masters within the next year at Monash, if possible.
Any questions, please ask. I will accept a furnished (double-bed/queen) or unfurnished room. I will be in Melbourne again in early November, and am happy to check some places out then.
