Hey! I'm Hannah, 23, originally from Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦
I’m arriving in Sydney on October 20th on a working holiday visa, and I’m planning to settle in Manly. I’ve talked to so many friends from home who’ve visited and absolutely loved it - I’ve only heard great things, so I’m really excited to experience it for myself.

My goal is to find a place to live within the first couple of weeks and start working part-time as soon as I can. I’m planning to stay put for at least 6 months and hopefully build a bit of a routine before maybe road-tripping up the coast later on.

I’m super keen to start surf lessons — I tried it once in Hawaii and have been wanting to get back on a board ever since. I love being outdoors and active, whether it's beach days, hikes, the gym or checking out local cafés and markets.

Personality-wise, I’d say I’m a mix of social and chill. I like going out and meeting new people, but I also really appreciate quiet time and a clean, peaceful home. I’ve lived in shared places before, and I’m tidy, respectful, and easygoing. I’m always down for the occasional house dinner or hangout, but I also totally respect personal space.

To start off, I’ll probably book a hostel just to meet people and get settled, but I’m really hoping to find a room in a share house that’s friendly and relaxed — not a party house, but still social. I’d also be open to teaming up with others who are in the same boat and looking for a place.
