I’m Hayden, 23, working full-time in civil/structural remediation, as well as studying civil engineering full time at UQ. I am receiving a full time salary as bursary and earn an hourly when I do work in holidays/during closures. I also have other income sources from personal side hustles. I’m looking to team up with one or two reliable people to rent a quiet dog-friendly house, ideally somewhere leafy, rural, or with decent land.

Open to male or female, but roughly same age bracket :)

I’m practical, respectful, and easy to communicate with. Im real easy going, just as long as Im able to sleep (pretty easy for me), and have time and space to work on side businesses, but always very easy to throw headphones on so im not very demanding. I’m handy around the house and don’t mind helping with practical jobs when needed, and would like to live with someone who respects mutual space cleanliness reasonably. Not a clean freak but, if something is disorganised or messy I won’t be able to leave it haha. But I’m also understanding in the sense sometimes you help eachother out. Not afraid to pick up some extra weight if others are pressured and I have the extra time to pick it up. I don’t argue, I ensure situations are handled respectfully for both parties and everyone feels they’re getting value out of their rent spend. Have shared a small granny flat before so understand the importance of relations with share mate. And life is dynamic!

I have one dog, so dog-friendly is essential. He’s a big part of my life, and I’d want him approved properly from the start. I’m happy to be clear about pet rules, cleaning, yard access, and how the house would work day-to-day.

I’m looking for a setup with people who are mature, honest, and reliable, but I do appreciate fun and being comfortable so I’m pretty easy going if you’ve got hobbies or want mates over etc. I value my own space, but I’m still friendly and decent to live with, can be reserved if you’d prefer or can get on together. I do enjoy getting to know who I’m sharing with. Makes experience much lighter and far easier to navigate. My goal is a stable home, not a chaotic sharehouse, but also not here to be the fun police.

I have a JetSki so would like garage space for that, and enjoy fishing, camping, 4WD, nature, need to get back into gym again, guitar, music, and I’m a pretty adaptable guy.
