About me

Hello potential housemate/s,

*Please note I have an indoor cat which is a non-negotiable aspect of me as a potential tenant. Cheers.*

Hello! I am a 39 year old female looking for a cat friendly place to live in Brisbane's leafy suburbs. Also lookng for places in the Sunshine Coast Regions.

Preferences (though not essentials!):
A spacious, tidy home with lots of trees or backyard.
A decent sized, unfurnished room as I have my own bedroom furniture, desk and belongings.
A built in wardrobe.
An ensuite bathroom is preferred. (Ensuite bathroom would be where I intend to keep my cat's litter box, so its best not to share a bathroom).
A bit of storage space is needed for my camping and craft supplies.
Security / fly screens throughout house is also a big plus (to ensure cat safety, and to be bug & mozzie free.)

I would prefer to share with mature, friendly people, and enjoy a peaceful life. My days of partying are long gone! LOL. (Or even live in a separate area - if I could afford to live on my own, I would LOL)

I also have quite a few plants, so a courtyard or backyard for gardening would be awesome.

About Me:
I am an Art Therapist starting my own business. I am also a volunteer Youth Mentor (pre Covid). I also usually work in retail/customer service (pre Covid).
I have regular income and can pay rent on time. Currently I work from home on my business.
I enjoy sharing housework, however cleaning is not a hobby of mine, so happy to work within a roster etc, and tidy up after myself.
I like to get creative and make art, would love similar people!
I am used to being in my own space, so don't be offended if I seem anti-social.
I value healthy, mature communication - dislike passive aggressive behaviour. Just chat to me if there is an issue.
I want to feel like I live in a home, rather than a house.
I enjoy bushwalking, op shopping, camping and kayaking, and art making.

About George:
I have a beautiful cat named George, who is strictly an indoor cat. A cat friendly/safe place is very important! :-) George is litter trained, social and he does not go outside. He has previously lived with a dog who was calm and friendly, so if your dog has those qualities, George would love a buddy. He has also enjoyed the company of other cats. He is quite hilarious, and I will always make sure he is respectful of your property.

I think I am good to live with because I am considerate, respectful and self aware; funny, friendly but I am also independant and like my alone time; I always pay rent on time. I am quiet, but not anti social, and like a harmonious living environment.

Looking forward to meeting you!

*Genuine responses only, and please have a current listing of your place/space with images for me to peruse*
The more information you can provide, the less questions I will have to bombard you with. :-)
