Do you fancy a cosy winter in Ardoch Village? I am going overseas for the winter and am subleasing my room while I am away. Vari will be your housemate, a 30-something lady professional working at the Melbourne Museum and newly arrived to Melbourne last October, kiwi born raised in Scotland.
Double room. Very quiet and very private. It is furnished with Double bed (linen included if you need) dresser/bedside table and large fitted wardrobes (heaps of storage). Own bathroom and toilet are across the hall.
The apartment is a modern, spacious two bedroom with heaps of natural light. I have an enormous open plan kitchen, dining and living room with polish floorboards leading out to balcony. It is nestled in a peaceful, heritage complex in St Kilda East with 3 acres of gardens and lawn with Swimming Pool, Sauna and Gym.
Looking for easy going, independent, happy, sociable, considerate and respectful individual or couple who will love their home as much as i do! It is perfect for someone newly arrived to the city and looking for a soft place to land while you find your feet!
Rent is $300/week paid fortnightly in advance. Bond is one month’s rent. Fixed bills are $50/week for internet and utilities. Household Kitty is $5/week cash.
Dishwasher, Washing machine, Tumble Dryer, Fetch TV with netflix/stan, ....what more do you need!!??
If the above sounds good to you then an inspection is a must, message me, let me know a bit about yourself and you can pop over for a cuppa, check out the place and meet Vari!
Walking distance to Chapel St and Carlisle St. Tram stops are 1 min walk, (64 & 5) train (Windsor Station) is 5 min walk. dedicated parking space by the flat and free on street parking is available.
Vari is a laid back professional, at the weekends she likes to either cafe hop around Chapel St or St Kilda, browse around the markets or head out to the countryside. She enjoys barre, hiking, crappy reality TV and cheesy royal history movies (dont judge). an expat from Scotland, been here for almost a year now but feeling very much at home!
I also an expat from Scotland, been here 12 years. Love Melbourne and all it has to offer but heading back to the warmth of the homeland for a bit so you will be renting my room and sharing the flat with Vari.
The Other Housemates
Must love rabbits! I have two house bunnies that are more like cats. They love Vari more than they love me. They pretty much keep to themselves but might hop up on the sofa with you if they think you have raisins or crackers or toast or banana. seriously.
