Are you looking for a place that is more of a home than a sharehouse?
I have my huge fully-furnished master bedroom with ensuite bathroom for rent.
The room is an oversized master suite at the back of the apartment. (it looks small in the picture)
Light and Spacious, very quiet and very private. I call it The West Wing! The room is furnished with Queen bed dressers/bedside table. Walk-in wardrobe leads to ensuite shower/toilet.
My home is a modern, spacious two bedroom apartment with heaps of natural light. I have an enormous open plan kitchen, dining and living room with polish floorboards leading out to balcony. It is nestled in a peaceful, heritage complex in St Kilda East with 3 acres of gardens and lawn with Swimming Pool, Sauna and Gym.
I have two friendly rabbits that are more like cats. They are house trained and mostly keep to themselves.
Mostly I'm looking for a full time employed, reliable, easy going, respectful person to share with! If you like to keep healthy and active that is a bonus! If you like rabbits then that is a double bonus, I work interstate from time to time and appreciate if the housemate can take care of the rabbits while I'm gone.
I am a 30ish lady project manager working at Melbourne University. I love my job but I love my life more! I am an expat from Scotland, been here 10 years. Love Melbourne and all it has to offer.
I am bit of a busy bee, I am in and out all the time. I work interstate from time to time during the week and generally have weekends booked out with fun stuff.
My perfect Melbourne Saturday would be a yoga class followed by brekkie with friends, check out the shops or farmers markets, lunch with more friends, a nap, dinner somewhere awesome or some wholesome home cooking and then a movie or a gig or hanging out somewhere where you can drink and chat. That being said I am not a big drinker unless the occasion calls for it.
I like heading out of the city on the weekend too. I snowboard in the winter and like weekends at the beach, beer gardens or hiking in countryside.
I'm a bit of a binge Netflix watcher, and I also have a slight weakness for crappy reality TV. Other hobbies include pottering, gardening, interior design, and op shopping.
Rent is $290/week .
Fixed household costs are $35/week
(includes Internet, a kitty for household essentials (cleaning supplies etc) and a cleaner every fortnight.)
Utilities come in at around $10-15 per week.
I am flexible with these terms if you would like to discuss with me before moving in.
Dishwasher, Washing machine, Tumble Dryer, TiVo, Broadband Internet ....what more do you need!!??
If the above sounds good to you then an inspection is a must, message me, let me know a bit about yourself and you can pop over for a cuppa and check out the place!
Walking distance to Chapel St and Carlisle St. Tram stops are 1 min walk, (64 & 5) train (Windsor Station) is 5 min walk. Free on street parking is available.
