SHARE HOUSE ACCOMMODATION
The Landlords:- We are an easy going young at heart business couple (sixties) who own a lovely large home located in a quite hill top cul-d-sac, not far from the Logan Hyperdome in Brisbane, (30 minutes drive to either the Brisbane CBD or to the Gold Coast).
The Arrangement:- As we are traveling away from home for various extended periods, especially for the next couple of years, we are offering the dwelling on a share accommodation basis to a lady tenant. Whilst ideally we envisage this accommodation as being suitable for the type of lady who may be seeking a ‘semi-permanent’ or even a ‘permanent’,'home away from home' place of residence, shorter periods would also be acceptable. The living arrangements include sharing the dwelling with us for those periods when we are home. At all other times the tenant would have the individual use of the entire downstairs area of the main dwelling.
The Residence:- The dwelling itself is effectively divided into three fully self contained living areas. These areas comprise two x three bedroom flats/units (which are tenanted by other young family members), one on ground floor level and the other on an upstairs level. Both units have their own separate private entrances. The third much larger area of the residence where we reside, is the three bedroom two storey main dwelling section. This also comprises a large kitchen and adjoining 'alfresco' dining and sitting area, spacious rumpus room, separate dining and lounge rooms, laundry (all shared with the tenant), an upstairs and a downstairs bedroom and a third attached outside bedroom/office.
The Property:- Is located in a pleasant bushland setting, also comprises an in ground swimming pool with surrounding shaded deck area, garden and a bar-b-que areas. There is also ample safe on and off street parking at the front of the property.
The Tenant accommodation:- This comprises the complete private roomy downstairs bedroom and en-suite areas (separate bathroom and toilet facilities) and adjoining private hallway area, (as well as the shared accommodation areas as above). It is envisaged that the tenant would provide their own linen, towels and personal bathroom requisites. Whilst bus transport is available within walking distance of the property, ideally your own vehicle would be more suitable.
The Rent:- A payment of $825.00 per month would include rent and all outgoings, (insurances, water and power) and the use of cable/WiFi internet. A suitable security bond and payment arrangements would be mutually negotiated with the tenant prior to taking up residence.
Unfortunately we cannot accept any pets or children and the home is a non smoking residence. All inquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence.
