The Quietest Room in the House, Students or Interns only no backpackers or workers, no couples or share rooms please. We are looking for a female house mate to keep the house balanced currently 3 males 2 females, you will be sharing a house with three international QUT and Griffith U students, current crew are from Norway, Denmark and Singapore. This is the most secluded and quite room in the house, its furnished with a double bed (linen and pillows provided) and has ample wardrobe and cupboard space for clothing. A desk ,chair, desk lamp and floor fan and ceiling fan complete the furnishings. You share a large bathroom with one other person currently a female. The rent includes internet, power and utilities; your only extra expenses will be to chip in to a communal fund for cleaning products and other disposables and of course your own food. An ample fridge, one shelf each, a front loading washing machine and galley style kitchen takes care of the survival stuff. Amenities include, table tennis, a BBQ and a large laundry. It is very conveniently located, less than 1.5 kilometres from the city. Public Transport (bus & ferry), Groceries Shops, Cafes and a Take-Aways are all a very short stroll away with Mowbray Park right at your back door. The aim is to provide a quality and supportive environment for you to live in while you undertake your studies or intern-ship in Australia. About You: Only clean and tidy students or interns need apply, no backpackers or workers please as students and interns tend to share common needs and schedules. UQ, QUT or Griffith University students preferred. No one will be around to pick up after you and cleaning in the common areas is a shared responsibility. If you like it messy, don't care and are too busy to clean up after yourself, then please look elsewhere as this place is not for you and you will be asked to leave. A bit of socialising is great, diners a BBQ's on the balcony are really a lot of fun, but no party animals or volume freaks, the neighbours are close and your house mates are closer, so respect for their privacy and lifestyle is required. In short you will be expected to get on with everyone in the house and share the common facilities. Single rooms only, sorry no couples or share rooms.
