Amazing location, on the skirt of all things good and great! Located behind Smith Street, it is a 2 min walk to either the 86 (Cnrs Gertrude and Langridge) or 109 (Victoria Pde) trams. With all the activity happening locally, you have your choice of local hangouts cafes (Proud Marys), restaurants (Pabu) bars (Mr Wows), and all just a stones throw away. Literally no need to own your own car, it takes 7 mins to make a brisk walk to the top of Spring St.
Secure underground parking available, I have a room available on the top floor of this three story block. A neighbourly apartment block people do say hi in the elevator and that’s a good thing. Your room has a BIR which has plenty of storage. This is a compact room that fits easily a double bed, and side drawers comfortably, the room is unfurnished so is yours for the making.
The apartment has a beautiful balcony a great place to start the day with some sunshine and brekky, or to enjoy a relaxing vino after a long day.
Although compact, it’s homely, and I hope to be able to share this as a home not just a place to hang my coat. My current flatmate Louise has outgrown the small offerings of an apartment, since moving here from NZ she has found her newly purchased surf board needs somewhere to live and off to explore the talents of Melbourne share living in a +2 share home. I will miss her dearly, but welcome the new face that joins the apartment and wants to make it home as well. Louise is looking to move by end of lease Dec 15, or if possible by Nov 15 if we find we are a fit. Ideally looking for someone who can commit to 1 year lease.
My name is Miroi, I'm a Kiwi who has lived in Melbourne for the past 9 years and in this apartment for the previous 5 years. I work locally and sometimes long hours so look forward to a spot on the couch and some mind numbing TV. Gone are my party days, preference is more for a dinner with some mates. Don’t get me wrong I still indulge in the Friday night after work bevvy’s but I hate wasting a beaut day with hangover. I like to share space but also like to respect others own time/space. I'm pretty relaxed (but everyone says that….but for reals I am), and won't name food in the cupboards or fridge! (Who does that?). Happy to share a meal or 2 whatever suits, or a goss on the couch if that suits equally happy to do my own thing and get going with that. Anyway come check it out if you think you will match! Look forward to it.
