We are the owner of a 2 bedroom New York style loft apartment on the top floor of a boutique heritage listed building near Darling Harbour in Sydney CBD.
We are looking for 2 working professionals to rent the room separately or to team-up to take the lease of the whole property. A family with children would also find this apartment an extremely convenient home (schools, parks, and pools all around us).
History of this heritage listed building:
It was built in 1893 for Mungo Scott Flour Mills; wine was prepared and matured by Seppelts Wines of South Australia who occupied the building from 1923 until 1972. In 1981 the building was heritage listed; named 'The Vintage' and was converted into warehouse style apartments by architects Wills, Denoon and Partners.
This fully furnished apartment has 2 bedrooms upstairs: each bedroom is currently furnished with a double bed, bedside table(s), lamp, air-con, ceiling fan, remote-controlled sky light blinds and built in or step-in wardrobe so they have plenty of storage space.
The apartment has 1 bathroom upstairs, 1 guest toilet downstairs, internal laundry (with dryer and washing machine), 1 storage room, an open plan kitchen and living area. Security - there is CCTV on every floor and the entrance is automatically locked between 6pm - 7am and on weekends. Video intercom allows you to let in your visitors.
The location of our apartment is truly convenient - you will find it saves you time and money from traveling daily if you work in the city and cuts out the daily grind of travel. The apartment is in between Darling Harbour and George Street where you can walk to shops, cafes, clubs, movie and other theatres, museums, galleries, restaurants and supermarkets. Darling Harbour; Town Hall station are just 2 blocks away and Cross Fit Gym is literally right next door; Fitness First and Anytime Fitness Gyms are a snatch 'n grab away. Impress your visiting friends and relos by walking across the rear lane to dinner at the Park Royale. If you enjoy swimming Ian Thorpe aquatic centre, Cooke and Phillip Park pool, and Andrew Boy Charlton Pool in the Botanic Gardens are all within walking distance. 10 - 15mins bicycle ride to North Sydney Olympic pool (along cycle path).
