With a central location on the corner of Dandenong Rd and Chapel St, this apartment is close to all the Chapel St and Carlisle St shops, clubs, bars and cafes. Easy access to public transport, with tram stops right in front of the apartment, Windsor train station a three minute walk away. Buses are also available, but I've never had to use them with trams and trains at my door. All day on-street parking available or parking permits can be applied for through Port Phillip Council.
Closest grocery stores are Coles and Woolworths located on Carlisle St, Balaclava, a five-minute tram ride away. 24/7 petrol station/convenience store and a 24/7 bottle shop a 2-3 minute walk towards Windsor.
Bills: Bills will be split equally between all residents. No water bill. No gas bill. $20 per month for unlimited internet/Wi-Fi and approximately $35-45 per month for electricity per resident (electricity paid quarterly). Totaling approximately $65 monthly bills per resident (upper estimate).
Backpackers/long term travellers welcome, however, minimum stay is six months. A copy of ID or passport must be supplied upon move in. Bond is $500. One months' notice prior to moving out is a must.
About me: I work as an Operations Manager for a large catering company in an iconic CBD venue, and at work mostly during the week and some weekends. During my spare time, I go to the gym, catch up with friends and go out for a few drinks on chapel. I cook where possible and spend most of my home time on my laptop or playing Xbox.
Looking for: A very clean and friendly housemate who is easy going and respect the privacy of others.
Please note: the pictures listed differ to the current state of the room. Our current flatmate still resides in the room, however, would like to move out once a new flatmate has been found. The room will be returned to its original state as shown in the pictures, prior to a new flatmate moving into the room.
