The house is is a great location as it is only one street away from the beach and a few minutes walk from Acland Street, Elwood village and local cafes. It has a relaxed beachy feel with wooden floor boards throughout and a kitchen which opens onto a leafy backyard. In the backyard there is a veggie patch, an outdoor laundry, clothes line and chairs to soak up the sun (when Melbourne decides to give us some!). The room on offer is a really generous size, has wooden floor boards and a built in wardrobe.
You would be sharing with me, Elise :) I'm 34 and currently studying and working part time. I'm friendly and social and up for a chat or a drink/meal but I'm also independent and like my own space. I also have a boyfriend who stays over a night or two a week and I tend to stay at his some nights also.
I'm looking to share with a guy or girl in their late 20s-30s, ideally with regular Mon-Fri 9-5 hours. I would be open to sharing with a couple if I found a good fit, however, the rent would be $300 a week (bills additional). I would consider a small dog but no cats sorry!
I really like a relaxed and chilled atmosphere and the house has that, so I would be after flatmates who appreciate the same. It's definitely not a party house so while I don't mind if you have friends over occasionally I wouldn't want people over every night or most nights.
Lastly, it's an old house with lots of charm and while I love it, it wouldn't suit someone who is after a modern place.
