OWN ROOM. Pictured is the floor plan for the unit across the hall (roughly same set up, just flipped).
We're Alex and Mel
We are looking to fill Bedroom 2 (second largest).
There will be four people living in the household - Alex (31) and Mel (30) sharing the master room, Emma (27) in the third, and... you! We all live healthy lifestyles, are active, and like to have a balance of being social and relaxing at home. While we live independent lifestyles and appreciate similar we are looking for someone who would like to have dinner together every now and then and just generally be social. We are looking for someone who will treat our place like a home. Clean, reliable, pleasant, and well-meaning flatmate wanted.
We like to keep the place clean and tidy, and we've found that a 'keep your shoes at the door' policy works well to magically keep the place cleaner. We prefer not to use harsh chemicals or poisons in the house to keep ourselves and the environment healthy (for us this means being really clean instead of using bug sprays, vinegar instead of "antibacterial" cleaning products, more generally anything biodegradeable). We have a weekly cleaning roster where each flatmate does one small job (e.g. mop kitchen).
It has a double built in wardrobe with mirror and a double bed and desk included. Optional: you can bring your own furniture if you like as we can store the current bed/desk in the garage. You will be sharing a bathroom and fridge (we have two!) with Emma.
Rent $260/week, 2 weeks advance, 4 weeks bond.
No pets. Share bills (electricity only). Ages 25-35 ideal.
It's a fantastic apartment in a small block of only 6 units. It's light-filled with good ventilation and insulation, private lock up laundry room, balcony, large modern kitchen and dishwasher, two bathrooms, double built ins in all rooms. It's on the corner of Alison and Anzac Parade.
Great public transport options: Buses come every few minutes and it's about 10 min to central station, less than 5 min to UNSW. It's directly opposite Centennial Park and with a lovely view of it. A 15 min stroll to the Entertainment Quarter where you'll find bars, cinemas and a nice gym. Close to beaches and short bus trip to Randwick Junction.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:
If you are interested in the place, please message us here with some info about yourself (e.g. age, occupation, current living situation, interests, expected move date) or call Mel. Looking forward to hearing from you!
