The house is in a 3 bedroom duplex and is a 10 minute walk to the train station and a 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, with plenty of free street parking. The common areas are fully furnished. We have an enormous, leafy backyard full of native plants and the occasional critter.
The room that is available has a built in loft bed which fits anything up to a king sized mattress. It comes furnished with a desk, dresser and clothes rail, but no mattress. You are welcome to bring your own furniture.
Rent is $200 per week, not including bills which are split three ways. Internet is $20 per month, and electricity and gas are paid quarterly. Bond is 2 weeks rent ($400). The room will be available from the 1st of April, but the move in date is flexible for the right person.
You will be living with Cait, a hippie chick and tea lover studying design, and myself, a geeky aspiring writer/scientist. We are both queer chicks in our mid/late 20s. We are both pretty independent, and while we aren’t a party house, we are still social and friendly. So if you like to sit around and chat over a cup of tea or a glass of wine every now and then, this is the place for you. We consider our house a home, so would prefer someone who is looking for comfortable home environment rather than just a place to stay. We are looking for another female aged 20+, who is looking to stay long term (6 months plus), and is clean and respectful. Must be queer friendly and non-smoking. No couples, no pets.
