We have a large 2 storey, 3 bedroom house.
This is a unique opportunity- We had all planned to move at the end of the year around the end of November, but our flatmate has got a job opportunity and has left us early.
We have one room to fill, but when we find a place suitable in Sydney we will be moving too. The real estate agent has offered to allow us to let someone take over our lease once we go-
SO if you are interested in moving in, and then in November getting your friends to move in, or sub-let the other rooms out to other people its up to you!
It's no rush for us, we can just cover the rent until we move but if someone wants to take the house over its easier for everyone- the real estate doesn't have to advertise the place and we don't have to pay the extra rent.
It's a super handy location, close to the hospital and free bus shuttle- it takes me 10 minutes to walk there.
The room itself-
It is a huge room with double window, roof fan, and plenty of room left over for desk and drawers and a double bed, and probably a lounge too.
You would be sharing three people until the ned of November- one gay couple
(one guy who works full time 23, and guy who is a mature aged student studying law 33), and one single straight guy who works full time as carpenter.
You would also be living with two other special house mates- the Dog and the Cat. The dog is small (he weighs 9kilos) and the cat is 15 years old. Both well trained and super friendly.
If you have pets the landlord is pretty cool about it- so another good reason to jump on this offer.
We are sociable and enjoy company, but not having people around all the time every day.
It is a quiet area so it is not a party house, but we will definitely be celebrating once my uni exams are finally over (after 6 years of study i deserve it) However we will be making sure everything is spotless before we go, and the real estate will do an inspection to ensure that.
we normally split the bills but who ever moves in- just chuck $10- $15/week in the kitty and that will cover your electricity, internet, water and gas.
There is no bond initally- we have already paid that, but when you take over the lease the total bond is $1680. You will have to pay that to the landlord when we go, and we will have our bond returned.
Rent is $165 for the room
The room is available for viewing now so contact us and we will arrange a time for you to come and check it out, and see if you are interested and think we will get along. Our current flatmates has moved out but he still has some stuff there- if you want to move in earlier we can store his stuff in the garage. no biggie.
