We have 2 short-term options available right now and a long-term option available from January (flexible). International visitors and children are very welcome!

*** We have a lovely Dutch guy who stays from Tuesday-Friday (3 nights) each week. If you are looking for somewhere to stay Friday-Tuesday, get in touch and we can have a chat to see if we can work something out that suits everyone. $40 per night.

*** We have a guest room that is available for short stays. $215 per week for one person and $280 per week for two people.

*** From 2017 (date flexible), we'd like to find a family to live in the large downstairs area which includes 2 large bedrooms, a bathroom, toilet, a very large separate living/dining area and a private entrance. It's like a large modern 2-bedroom unit. We have previously had a small Indonesian family living with us for 1 year which was a great experience so we're hoping to find something similar.

It's a large upstairs/downstairs renovated Queenslander - with 5 bedrooms (3 upstairs, 2 downstairs), 2 bathrooms (1 up, 1 down), 1 full kitchen upstairs (pictured) and a kitchenette with separate dining space downstairs, 2 lounge/living rooms (1 up, 1 down), 2 verandahs, a large garden, a pool and a piano.

We are located in a quiet street with parks, a community garden, a creek, tennis court, walking tracks, a bowls club and a great little cafe nearby.

There are two large bedrooms (3.4m x 3.8m) downstairs which have their own large living/dining room and own bathroom and toilet. They are currently furnished with a queen/double bed, bedside table, desk, lamp and large built-in wardrobe.

We are looking for someone who: doesn't mind not having a TV in the living room, keeps common areas tidy, doesn't smoke, and is happy to live with a 4-year-old kid and women in their 40s! Singles, couples and other small family units, children and international visitors very welcome.

We are a small family unit - a 40-ish female Australian couple with a 4-year-old daughter (we live upstairs), a 40-ish female Australian part-time chef/student (downstairs), and a 40-ish Dutch carpenter who stays a few weeknights. There's plenty of room for everyone.

I'm a public servant, love travel and languages - I'm originally from Brisbane but have lived many years overseas (in Japan, Philippines, France, England). My partner is a civil engineer, from Melbourne, and loves rugby (former player, now coach), keeping fit and reading The Age newspaper. We like trivia nights and quizzes. Our daughter is a friendly 4-year-old kid. Weekdays, we usually wake at 6:30am and go to bed/sleep at around 9/10pm. Weekends we are sometimes in, sometimes out and sometimes travelling.

We have a very relaxed, friendly old 14-year-old dog (a Border Collie Kelpie cross) who lives outside, doesn't bark and is no trouble. There are also 3 chickens who live in the back yard.

Going to the CBD/Valley? under 30 min (416/470 bus)
Going to UQ? under 30 min (414 bus)
Also close to 598/9 Great Circle Line (to Ashgrove, Indooroopilly, etc) and a 15-minute walk to central Toowong where you can catch the train and many other bus routes.

Do you cycle? It's a 20-minute cycle to UQ and a 30-minute cycle to the city.
