Nestled on the stunning, tree lined Edgecliff Road, this grand and spacious 3 bedroom double bricked Art Deco apartment feels more like a house. This apartment (block of 3) boasts a large modern kitchen with adjoining separate dining room which opens to a sun splashed office and retreat space. The North facing furnished balcony enjoys morning sun and a beautiful serene outlook also offering a bayside breeze into a light and expansive living room with a gas fire. The main Moroccan style bathroom includes an original walk in shower and deep bath. There is a seperate toilet.
Many of the living areas feature double doors that offer sectioned off privacy to each space which makes this a a great home to share with others. The proportions of this apartments living rooms are large. There is plenty of on street parking and a quaint communal rear courtyard and BBQ.
Just a 3 minute walk from the train station, buses and shopping centre. A short walk to Double Bay and Queen Street, Woollahra.
My name is Susan and I am 43 and originally from Auckland, NZ. I work in the wine industry on a magazine and I like to cook, visit farmers markets, go for walks, catch up with friends, movies and the occasional concert. Genevieve is also 43, originally from Melbourne and works as an Event Manager for Fashion & Lifestyle publications. She enjoys floristry, films, music, the odd "guilty pleasure" reality show, fitness, the outdoors & discovering Sydney. We are both very easy going, enjoy the occasional dinner & glass of wine together when everyone is about and are looking for a third addition to our lovely home. It is an amazing space and a rare find in Sydney.
We catch up for dinner about 2-3 times a week. We sometimes entertain together with friends, but not all the time. The Apartment is fondly referred to as 'Shirley', the building's namesake. Our neighbours and residents are very friendly, similar in age, quiet, respectful and share a sense of community. We take up the entire top floor of the apartment and get along well with everyone!
Looking for a good mix of social and independent flatmates who like to catch up for the occasional drink and meal but also have their own lives and are considerate to their flatmates. This place is a home not a flat and we very much enjoy living here. No couples please and as much as we love pets our contract states no animals and only 3 occupants.
