Hi, I have a lovely home with a spacious double sized room available. The home is very relaxed and welcoming just like myself and my Chinese friend who I currently share with.
We are looking for someone who is like-minded and would be interested in living with us. We are both currently studying (almost finished) and would be very happy to have another student join us.
I (23) currently work at a school full time and study teaching full time at UC whilst my friend (26) studies her masters in STATS at ANU. We enjoying watching netflix together and going out on weekends when we get the chance. We are super clean and tidy as you can see and are looking for someone who is also clean and tidy.
About your room: Your room would be fully furnished with a queen or double bed and side tables as well as have a built in wardrobe. You would have full access to the bathroom and toilet only sharing with one other.
The place is pretty modern and has a real homey feel. There is ample space in the kitchen with all the things you need. There are two fully furnished lounge rooms one with a tv in the main area and the other as a formal sitting area at the front of the house as well as a separate study (bonus!).
All appliances are brand new (fridge, washing machine and dryer) ready for you to use. There is also a lovely covered outdoor area for entertaining in the warmer months.
Super efficient heating and cooling and also an alarm system.
We have lived in homestays both overseas and in Australia and are easy to live with. We have lived together for a year now as well as with two others who are moving on, and it has been most enjoyable.
Located only 10 minutes from Belconnen and 15-20 minutes to the City and ANU this is a pretty good location. There are regular buses that come past (two doors down) which are direct to Belconnen and the City. If you ride, there are great bike paths both on-road and off. For those who drive and own a car, there is plenty of off street parking.
We also live with a very shy but friendly little cat so no pets allowed unfortunately.
Look forward to hearing from you :)
