The Room: (Master Bedroom) $290/week :
This room is on the upper floor and has lovely real wooden floors and high (nine foot) ceilings. There are large windows on the South-Western wall displaying an incredible view.
This is the master bedroom and has a side door with access to the balcony, also South-West facing. There are also two large and deep built-in wardrobes with a great deal of space. The room is air conditioned and has a queen sized bed and frame, a large chest of drawers with a mirror, and a bed side table. There are also rugs in the room.
The property is a large, well kept, two storey house, situated high upon a hill. Well behaved pets are welcome, as we have two adorable Border Collie puppies ourselves. We are students - but we are the good type - the type who (pretend) that we are studying all the time, and therefore don't party much and don't often come stumbling home drunk late at night, banging on the door because we lost our keys... But we don't mind if you do!
We are very clean, and quite strict on keeping common areas clean and tidy, such as the bathroom (for upstairs anyway), and especially the kitchen. We respect others' wish to live in a clean house, so we leave everything the way we wish to find it. We have a cleaning roster that everyone partakes in, to make sure the floors, kitchen, and outside/garden are regularly cleaned, kept maintained, and tidied.
Upstairs, there is a kitchen and washing machine shared by the whole house (4 bedrooms in total). Our kitchen is modern with stone counters. The kitchen also includes a dishwasher and powerful induction stove top.
The house is close to Carmody Road, which takes you directly to the university, and we are also close the the Gailey Five Ways shops, including a cafe, fruit shop, butcher, and chemist. There is also an IGA very near by which closes at midnight, seven days a week.
Regarding transport, the university (UQ) is a 20 minute walk away, while there is alternatively a bus stop just round the corner with buses running every 10 minutes to the city or uni.
