Are you looking for a place in the New Acton precinct which appeals to your inner fancy? Are you into private balconies and / or bacon-and-egg-rolls-right-downstairs-on-a-Sunday-morning? This is most surely the place for you!
Next door to Hotel Hotel, this spectacular apartment has some outrageous features - beautiful rolling art exhibitions in the building and lifts, a community garden, a sculpture garden, private theatre to impress your Tinder date, free to use gym and amazing views overlooking the city surrounds. Basically, the inner north is where it's at - Palace Cinemas, cafes, restaurants, galleries and walking distance to ANU and Braddon / Civic.
Your room - pictured in the feature photo (although, unfurnished):
Large built in robes
Large windows with lake / hot air balloon views
Heating / air conditioning, double glazed windows
No noise from other rooms
Modern bathroom which you share with one other, featuring a very large shower, two basins and two mirrors
Unfurnished and large enough for whatever sized bed you care to bring as well as other assorted bedroom furniture such as bookshelf, a desk or a hot tub.
Ample storage in apartment and locked car park cage
Really very nice
19 Marcus Clarke Street (above Mocan and Green Grout)
Short walk to city, shorter walk to coffee, bacon and egg roll
Lake views (on the eighth floor)
Modern appliances including dishwasher, dryer, washing machine, microwave and fridge
Large TV (Netflix n chill)
Furnished common areas
Cool in summer and warm in winter (winter is coming)
Clean and modern
Stone and marble features in the kitchen and bathrooms
Has never been a crime-scene
About the housemates:
One a 30 year old Public Servant who (like 90% of Canberra) enjoys red wine, cheese and Game of Thrones. Other interests include politics, education, art, sport (not NRL) and Whitney Houston. Dislikes - NRL and liquorice.
One mid twenties night manager at a hotel who is lovely, but you probably won't see often unless you are nocturnal (this works very well for bathroom routine, again unless you are nocturnal).
We are busy and social (not too social), clean (not too clean). True, everyone says that about themselves, but in this case it is very true.
Rent is $315. Bills are additional, but very cheap due to very high energy efficiency. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a viewing, please email, message or call any time! Available now for short or long term stay, though long term is preferred. Questions? Sure! You need only ask.
