Hi there!
My name is Sam, I have a room to rent at my place in Kangaroo Point! I don't live there, I'm just the land lady - one of my tenants is moving out so we need someone to move into the room.

A bit about the house:
The two-level house has a pool, two balconies (plus a patio by the pool), polished floors, modern kitchen and bathrooms, fully furnished lounge and living spaces, air-con throughout, ample street parking and is just over the bridge from the city and Valley, ($8 in an Uber = winning). There is a park at the end of the street, supermarket and bottle-o are both within walking distance, as is the Gabba. Bills are not included in the rent: electricity, gas and internet are split between the 4 tenants so they work out to be pretty cheap (approx $5 per week internet, $100 per quarter gas & electricity).

A bit about the room:
The room is available to rent from April 6 but this is flexible. I'd prefer long term, but I'm also open to short term applicants. The room is on the ground level and was recently re-painted, has air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a large built-in wardrobe.

A bit about your future housemates:
Emily and Mack both work in the theatre industry (Em's a director/producer and Mack's a dancer/fitness instructor) so are in and out on full-time schedules and have a little Pomeranian dog called Olly - he's a super friendly ball of fluff and a pretty chill house pal.
Fraser is a Scotsman who is a football and goon lover (often at the same time) and works full-time as an engineer in the CBD.

"We've all lived together in the house for over 12 months and enjoy having a laugh together and socialising on weekends, but keep a pretty low profile during the weeks as we all work full time. We've got a big TV so nights in are usually spent watching Netflix and days off are either spent out and about or in the sun by the pool and drinks on the back deck. We're all easy-going characters in our twenties and love living at the Rawlins pad.

Who we're looking for in a housemate:
We're looking for someone who is friendly, tidy and doesn't take themselves too seriously. If we sound like a good fit, we'd love to hear from you :)"

Please message if you're interested and we can set up a viewing ASAP.
