Nestled between the O'Connor and Lyneham shops, this house is a ten minute bike ride from the Civic centre or the ANU. The two housemates that you would be living with are relaxed and focusing on their respective career and studies.
We like living here because of its great location and the freedom a big backyard can provide. We like the odd drinki and maybe turn up the stereo for a little bit on a Friday afternoon to unwind.
We are looking for a person who takes pride in their household and doesn't mind pitching in to clean up the yard or do some housework.
The house is kept quite neat and tidy. Its an older home, but its clean, tidy and very livable.
We do a weekly meal plan and share cooking between the housemates. This has been great because it means that we regularly come together to eat and get to try lots of new healthy meals. We hope that anyone new coming into the house will want to participate.
We think a person completing post-graduate studies or similarly focusing on their career would be a great fit for the house. When responding to this ad, please include the word "MACAV" in the subject or first sentence.
About the housemates:
- Sean is a Masters student at ANU and enjoys chatting about his strategic studies course over wine.
- Phil works full time as a graduate at DVA. He enjoys his sound system and talking philosophy.
- Jana recently finished Law and has been working for the UN. She enjoys chatting about social issues.
