We have a spacious and modern house and are looking for another house mate for a fairly long term situation, preferably 6 months at least.
There is two lounge rooms, a large modern kitchen with dishwasher, air conditioning, super fast NBN internet, and solar electricity.
Also included is a large and quiet undercover patio, front and back yard (with trees and plenty of space to relax), friendly neighbours, and we are also located in a modern estate.
We enjoy socialising, our own winding down time, or a movie, rather than partying or dramas.
The room available includes a built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan, and can fit a queen sized bed. It's not a master bedroom, more of a medium sized room. There is also another medium sized spare room for you to use whenever you like, and includes a glass finish corner desk. There is extra storage space in the garage.
The bathroom includes a decent shower space and bathtub, a separate toilet. My house mate has an en-suite of his own.
We are flexible with furniture, and if you did want to add to the house, that sounds good.
I am in my early 30s, and enjoy a social event, mountain biking or a hike up a mountain on the weekend.
My housemate is in his early 40s, he enjoys a catch up, Netflix, and the odd road trip in his spare time.
Both of us do not smoke, do not take drugs and have the occasional drink.
We are both fairly social and easy going guys, and both keep a fairly healthy and active lifestyle.
The Banyo Retail and Woolworths centre, cafes, takeaway food, Banyo library, the Australian Catholic University, and trains and buses are all a short walk away. There is also a large park, an oval and BBQ area, plus mountain bike trails quite close by.
Nundah, Northgate, Nudgee/Sandgate Beach, Toombul, Chermside and the Brisbane Airport are literally all a few minutes drive away.
The rent details:
The rent, and all bills but electricity, are all included in the weekly price. It is affordable and easy to manage, at $165/week. Super fast NBN internet, water usage, and garden maintenance are all included.
Electricity is mostly paid for via the newly installed solar panels on our roof. Excess usage will be split 3 ways, or simply added to the rent cycle (and it wont be much at all).
And we would prefer not to live with couples or kids - however they can visit, and unfortunately pets aren't allowed.
