Me and my partner are off to NZ so are looking to sublet for 3 weeks. We get back on Thursday the 9th of Feb but if needed you could stay in the room until Sunday the 12th. It's a large rooms approx room 3.9 x 3.6. !We are happy to negotiate cheaper for single person depending on demand!. We pay $220/wk but would prefer someone paying some of it than no one paying all of it! All 3 weeks due up front.
We have no preferences or stipulations in the gender, shape, size, species etc of which you come. You should be respectful, tolerant, tidy and understanding of others.
The house is in a great location in Brunswick - a really lovely suburb of Melbourne. Theres 3 rooms a big living room that joins to the dining room and then a huuuuge kitchen.a lovely giant kitchen and two fridges. It's 5 minutes away from a 55 tram to the city which takes about 30min. We're about 12ish minutes from Sydney road - where are the great Melbourne pubs and pub gardens are! There are also some great local great veggie/butcher markets around -which are far better value than the supermarkets. We're in perfect bike territory - right near two bike paths into the city. To bike to the other lovely Melbourne suburbs of Carlton, Cartlon North, Northcote, Coburg and Fitzroy takes between 20 and 30 minutes. So really we're in a great spot for getting both to the city and exploring the other lovely Melbourian suburbs!!
A bit about those in the house in one of the other rooms is Signe and John. Signe is a 26-years-old Dane studying a Master of social work at RMIT (John imported Signe from the cold north after meeting her on a hike in Spain two years ago). She really enjoys her studies as well as discovering Melbourne, going to the botanical garden and biking around Melbourne on her blue bike. John is a 24-year-old Melbournian with a bachelor degree in psychology. When he is not at work he enjoys seeing friends, having a beer, going to gigs and joining the group of people running around Princess Park. The other room is inhabited by Marcus - a melbournian that's currently cycyling from Melbs to Cairns for charity - he'll be away for some of your stay so you'll also meet a lovely Brazilian packpacker whos been travelling around Australia and NZ for the last year!
