Also there's a garden shed where a bicycle can be stored with easy access to a laneway which leads you to the Middle Park beach 5 mins away.
The room where you would be staying is large, very quiet and private.(6 x 5m) It is close by to the bathroom, carpeted and furnished. There is a very large wall of built in wardrobes and shelving.
The house has Hydronic Heating in each room. All new appliances, Oven, Fridge, Microwave, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Widescreen Samsung Television and DVD player, Wireless Internet connection and Bathtub.
The house has a very open, relaxed and homely feel, set in a very wide, tree lined street with a friendly community atmosphere. Being located in the beautiful suburb of Middle Park, it offers a safe environment. With Armstrong Street within walking distance, where you can find a supermarket IGA, excellent cafes and resturants, gym, supermarket, post office, chemist, drycleaner, boutiques, hairdressers and gift shops, boot makers, health clinic for chiropractory and the legendary Middle Park Hotel. Also the classic South Melbourne Market are close by, where you can buy good quality fresh produce seafood, meat, poultry fruit and vegetable and much more.
There are two tram lines located very close to the house No.96 and No.12 which will take you into heart of the Melbourne CBD within 20-25 mins. Also the thriving tourist destination of St Kilda is within walking distance or a short 5 min tram ride. The house is only a five minute walk to the bayside beaches, there is a boulevard along the beach front where you can relax and enjoy the sea air and all the activities that take place there, Volley Ball, Wind surfing etc. There is a great gym, St Kilda South Pacific Health Club set on the beach with a salt water swimming pool and sauna and a state of the art gym, with yoga classes, spin, pump and more. Albert Park with it's lovely lake is very close by fantastic for walking, picnics and playing tennis. Being cushioned by the beach and park allows a sense of being protected and creates a tranquil atmosphere.
I am a full time practising and exhibiting artist/painter with a studio in the CBD where I work at least 5 days of the week. My interests are cooking, keeping fit, yoga, going to the cinema, travel and socialising with friends. Susan who rents out the third bedroom is a successful fashion designer and has her business in Colins St in the city. She is very lovely and easy to get along with and has very similar interests to mine.
I do throw the occasional dinner party and party. We are looking for someone who is a professional (not working from home), young in spirit, respectful, easy going, happy to be in a cosy creative and lively but relaxed enviroment and would be able to share with the chores around the house.
There is a very cute dog called Teddie, who is a mix of King Charles Cavalier and Maltese living at the house. Look forward to hearing from you : )
