It's Chris here, and I have two rooms to rent in our three bedroom Marrickville sharehouse.
The house is a 15-minute walk from either Marrickville or Dulwich Hill stations and a 7 minute walk to the nearest bus-stop towards the city.
The first bedroom is a big size with built-in wardrobes and is also very well lit. This room is $255 per week.
The second bedroom is the smaller one but comfortably fits a queen bed and has freshly painted white walls, polished floors and high ceilings. This room is $235 per week.
The house is the perfect mix between heritage and modern and has a modern bathroom, sizeable lounge and decent kitchen with gas-cooking. It is fully furnished, including two fridges, a washing machine and dryer. The backyard is huge and has-to-be-seen to be believed.
You'd be sharing the house with Chris (myself) a friendly 31-year old who works in PR/communications . I enjoy a chat and wine/beer after work but also respect other people's personal space.
I have held the lease sine October 2016 and it is due to expire in April 2018. I am considering whether or not to extend the lease or move out so there's a great opportunity for the right housemate/s to stay on and take over the lease and extend it for another 6 or 12 months! (The owner of the house lives overseas and uses this as an investment property).
The rooms are available in the next three weeks (negotiable). Wi-fi Internet is available for $5 p/w and gas+ electricity bills come quarterly and are split evenly.
