Some of our favourite flatmates have been French, Spanish, Belgian, Argentinian, Brazilian and Japanese.
I love having people to stay from countries where English is not the first language. I find it fun getting to know “foreigners” and I can always help your with your English, written or spoken, and explain any other strange Australian customs.
Unlike a lot of other rooms advertised in Pyrmont, this is a PRIVATE HOME with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and only ever THREE or FOUR (3-4) PEOPLE living here in total - the other two rooms are occupied by myself and one couple.
I am a journalist and editor, and I work part-time from home and part-time at a nearby coworking space. (I am middle-aged but young-at-heart and pretty easygoing.)
Previously I have had French, Spanish, Belgian, German, Argentinian, Brazilian and Japanese flatmates. So it is a friendly, multi-nationality household.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA for new flatmates:
MUST be working (or studying)
Be CONSIDERATE of others in the apartment
Pay rent ON TIME
Pay TWO WEEKS' security deposit in ADVANCE
MUST be able to move in by 27 May, 2018
