Up for grabs is this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in the newly constructed "Oxley" apartment block in Collingwood. I am looking for someone to take over my lease in July as I am moving overseas.
The apartment is located just off Smith St on Stanley St, just a 5 minute walk from the buzzing food and bar culture that Smith St is renowned for. Proud Mary cafe, voted one of Melbourne's best is also within a stone's throw away (like seriously, it's about 20m from the building, sooo good!). If you prefer the entertainment of Brunswick St, such as the bar 'Naked for Satan' or 'Stagger Lee's' cafe, then it's only a short 15 minute walk from the apartment.
Public transport is also conveniently close with the 86 tram running up and down Smith St which will take you straight in to the city as well as the 96 tram on Brunswick St which will do the same. There is Woolworths at the top of the street but if you're more of a Coles person, it's just a short 10 minute walk down Smith St. Messina, Melbourne's best Ice Cream/Gelato cafe is also located just at the top of the street (seriously, bars, cafes, gelato and groceries/bottle shops all within 5 minutes walk, can it get any better?). If you're a member of Anytime Fitness, there is a gym located a very short 5 minutes walk from the apartment and for Snap members, there's a gym located on Brunswick St (15 minutes walk).
To those with cars, the room also comes with a parking space in a secured underground garage plus storage cage. The room itself features 2 bedrooms, both large enough to comfortably fit a queen size bed (as seen in the photos) as well as double mirrored wardrobes. There is gas cooking (cheaper bills!) and a dishwasher plus plenty of storage within the kitchen. The bathroom features modern fixtures and the shower warms up super quickly (perfect for those cold winter mornings!). There is also a rooftop pool and bbq area, perfect for those hot summer days.
The apartment screams convenience and comfort. It's perfect for those who like to entertain or be entertained and comfortable enough for those lazy nights in.
