We are looking for a housemate to take over our master bedroom and hearts. Must love dogs. Designed by the famous Antoni Gaudi in 1806 (yeah right), this 3 story townhouse (top floor is the master) is immaculate. Renovated about 2 years ago, tons of space, open plan kitchen/lounge/dining, and gets the morning sun (when it's not raining, it's Melbourne after all). Just across from College Lawn Hotel, and 30 seconds unicycle ride to Prahran Station and Greville Street.
Townhouse common area has a pool, gardens and three possums, and we have a BBQ in the backyard. House is fully furnished, but not the master bedroom. If you have kitchen stuff or other furniture you can bring it if it's better than ours. Overall, this is an amazing place with great neighbours, very quiet and secure (on a clear, calm night, when the wind blows in from the east, you may hear the train echoing from Platform 9 3/4), and so close to Chapel you can almost smell the incredible coffee being lovingly made by the finest hipsteristas in Melbs. Treat yo self!
I’m Rhino! I’m a Labrador cross Staffy, 21kg, 1.5 years old and chill as. I'm small, don’t bark or chew, I love people and going for walks and playing with other dogs, but I don't like cats. Life is ruff, ain't it?
Greetings! My name is Chris. I’m 29, from California, and I’m a permanent resident. I’m currently studying Exercise Science with Val, and I teach reformer Pilates full time. I’ve lived in Melbourne for almost 5 years now, and I’m energetic, active and social. I love playing with Rhino, going for motorbike rides, and doing handstands. I’m a huge nerd and I love Superman. I’m always down for a cider, a movie, etc. Because of my work, I’m up early and sometimes home late, but I don’t make a beep!
I am Val, 24 years old, originally from Germany and my life pretty much revolves around uni, exercise, friends, food and Rhino. I am pretty easy going, generally a tidy person but not a clean freak. I am always down for a beer or two and a social night out.
We are looking for a guy or girl similar to us, who plans to stay long term. *Sorry, no short term stays or working holidays*. Someone sociable, funny, and with an optimistic outlook! No grouches. You must be okay with having a dog in the house. You do not need to share the financial aspect of Rhino housemateship. However, belly rubs are encouraged, Chris loves them. Give us a holla if you have any questions or want to arrange an inspection. We hope to hear from some awesome people and…
May the odds be ever in your favour.
