This is a lovely apartment in Elizabeth Bay. I've just been offered an exciting new job in Melbourne, but it means that sadly I'll need to leave it with six months remaining on my lease.
The rent is $300/week, not including bills.
Internet is $32.50/month (unlimited) and water/electricity is approximately $20-30/month.
The apartment is in an older building, but the kitchen and bathroom are only a year old, they were done before we moved in. The older-building means it has high ceilings and a massive bedroom and living room - this layout meant that we actually made lounge room a second bedroom (it's the same dimensions as the actual bedroom). We realised we had no hope at living at Elizabeth Bay and pay only $300/week, so we found an apartment that could be treated as two-bedrooms in what is theoretically a one-bedroom apartment plus independent living room. We effectively made two large 'private' bedrooms (there is plenty of room, it also has a couch and TV, so it is more like you're own little studio) though there is no separate lounge room. The apartment is also already furnished if you would like.
Your housemate would be a 22-year-old professional, who works full-time in marketing/IT as a UX designer. She is completely respectful, kind, courteous and happy to do her own thing but also makes great company and is wonderful for chats after work and spending time with too.
