Beautiful, friendly, quiet, home-stay style Bohemian share-house on bush and near water, with spectacular views and nature walks, very close to Nth Sydney, St Leonards and city; easy walk to bus stops. Most beautiful area of Sydney with great local shops & plaza. Older style house is on gardens; bushland; close to Sydney Harbour Bridge views; Lane Cove river, in a safe, very quiet area (no traffic) with lots of native animals. Plenty of privacy; large common spaces.
1 med. size room available. This Low price is ONLY for Full-Time ''home-stay" Students/Interns (One per room) staying 3-4 months. Includes WiFi; Cable internet; all bills, a King Single bed in your own fully-furnished bedroom. Short stay & Others considered by request.
Bedroom overlooks trees or gardens, have a desk, lamp, wardrobe, heater or fan, rugs. Storage space is only in your bedroom, except for bicycle.
Bus stop only 6 mins walk away either via steps or a 3 mins bushwalk. All bedding, linen, towels, cupboard, heating, fans; all kitchen, washing facilities and some supplies included. Internet/ WiFi in all bedrooms. See native animals daily, sport ovals and bush walks; water is 5 mins away.
Walk 5 mins to small shops or 15-20 mins to supermarkets/ cafes/ pub/ huge library etc and Epping Rd. Buses: 20 mins to City on 261 from Kenneth St, Longueville (cnr. New St or River rd). OR 254, 253 from Longueville Rd, corner of River rd. (via Lane Cove shops). 253 bus is express to city (or 254 via highway to St Leonards to Nth Sydney train). Time to Macquarie Uni by bus is 45-50 mins from house - along Epping Rd at cnr Longueville rd. Ferry to city from Longueville wharf is Mon-Fri only.
Guests may be social and always consider others need for privacy or to study if required; We minimise energy and water costs (turn off lights etc. ; take short showers); and recycle waste; it is essential to share communal cleaning.
You are met at bus stop as house can be hard to find at first- maps don't show quickest way. Plenty of on-street parking. No smoking near or in house ever. Friends or family can stay overnight occasionally.
Generally a variety of International; sometimes Australian guests, mostly University and College post-grad students and/or Interns, all are very welcome.
