This house is in a great location. It is situated in between Glenferrie and Camberwell, and is within walking distance to both shopping precincts. There are several great bars and restaurants nearby. It is a seven minute walk to Auburn Station, which makes commuting into the city very convenient!
This is a modern three bedroom, two bathroom, multi-story town house. It has separate lounge and dining areas, an outdoor courtyard and a new kitchen (with a dishwasher!). This town-house is one of 17 units, within a converted warehouse. The house is very secure, and comes with two secure car parks. There is also a street parking permit available. If you have a car, you will be rotating parking spots. You will have two weeks in a car-spot and one week on the street.
You room will be unfurnished and is on the ground floor.There is ample cupboard and hanging space. The room is large enough to fit a queen sized bed, bedside table and small desk / bookshelf. You will share a shower/bath, however you do have your own private mirror and sink which adjoins your room. You also have a door leading directly into the bathroom as well one leading into the hallway.
Gas, Water and Electricity are due every three months and are split evenly between housemates. Internet is $20 a month. We tend to do all food shopping and cooking separately for the most part.
Rent is due once a month. You will need to sign onto the month by month lease, pay bond (about 6 weeks rent) and some of the transfer fee upfront. Ideally we are looking for someone who plans to stay at least 12 months.
About your housemates:
You will be living with two 24 year old girls, Jenna and Emily. Both are very neat and tidy and work full time in the city. They enjoy hanging out during the weekend, cooking, watching netflix and socializing. As both are working professionals, the house is pretty during the week. :)
A working professional is preferred. A full-time job is required to be approved by the real estate agent. You will pitch-in with the cleaning, pay bills on time, and be up for a shared glass of wine and a chat.
