Situated in the heart of New Farm literally a stones throw from the park and less than a 5 minute walk to the Powerhouse. It's a 3 minute walk to the bus stop (199 to the city (10 minutes), West End (15 minutes) and Teneriffe (5 minutes), 5 minute walk to the City Cat straight across New Farm Park and a 5 minute walk to Merthyr Village Shopping Centre where you have Coles, Bakers Delight the iconic New Farm Deli, numerous banks and other shops. The complex is located on a no through road so there is absolutely no traffic noise. Front doors are electronically tagged so it is very secure too. It is a wonderful area to live in and I can't talk of it highly enough. The flat has Foxtel, internet and ducted aircon all of which are included in the rent.
The apartment itself is fully furnished, however the bedroom is only part furnished. The room comfortably fits a queen bed and there is a built in wardrobe with mirrors on the sliding doors. There is also a chest of drawers and bedside tables so all you need to do is bring a bed. If you don't want the chest of drawers or bedside tables though, that isn't an issue. You also have your own bathroom with a bath/shower.
Depending on whether you are paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly I don't mind how you pay rent just as long as it is on time.
I'm looking for a male or female (no age preference) to join me living the New Farm lifestyle. Also, I am the only one on the lease and to save any issues of signing on and off, that is the way I am going to keep it. All you will need to do is pay two weeks bond.
Now for a little bit about me. I am a 34 year old male who works full time in the city on Eagle Street. During the week, I am very quiet and enjoy a chat and do a fair bit of exercise. If there is any sport on, I'll have it on in the background, otherwise it'll just be some music to relax to after a long day at work. Nothing crazy for me during the week so you don't have to worry about being kept up due to noise. My girlfriend lives just around the corner from the flat too so I am not home every night either so you will have some evenings and mornings all to yourself. On the weekends, just like everybody else, we are usually out and about but can have some days when we are home. I do love my sport too (the main reason for Foxtel) so if you enjoy watching a bit of rugby or NRL, this will be an added bonus.
Anyway, if this sounds like the sort of lifestyle you are after, send me a text or a message on here and I will get back to you. I'll look forward to hearing from you soon.
