A rare and beautifully renovated, large art deco apartment centrally located amongst the hot spots of St Kilda. Just a short walk to St Kilda Beach, Albert Park Lake, Fitzroy and Acland Streets, and trendy cafes and restaurants. A 5 minute walk to the 96 Tram that will have you in the CBD within 15 minutes.
The room available is one of the largest king size rooms you will find in an apartment. The large window lets in loads of natural light into this incredibly comfortable space, that is big enough for a king size bed, chest of drawers, a desk and bed side tables. The wardrobe is a tall 3 sliding door, floor to ceiling built in, that has plenty of shelving and drawers fitted alongside the clothing hanging rails.
The rest of the living space is a mix of modern fittings with an Art Deco aesthetic featuring ornate windows, solid hard wood flooring throughout, a large, open plan lounge and dining area that connects to a renovated and spacious kitchen that has loads of storage, a large fridge, double drawer dishwasher and gas cooktop - it's the perfect kitchen if you love to cook!
The lounge room is super cozy with a gas fireplace, large U shaped couch and flat screen TV...the ultimate 'movie night' space. Off the lounge room is a small sunroom inclusive of storage cupboards and is currently not being utilised but would make a great office or can be used to store items if need be.
The bathroom in the apartment is a large double shower with a rainwater shower head that has amazing water pressure; a double sink vanity, excellent lighting and ventilation and a new toilet. The laundry facilities are tucked away in the bathroom and feature both a washing machine and dryer.
The apartment is on the second floor of a 3 storey walk up so it features a small New York style terrace balcony adjoining to the kitchen area. This amazing space has everything you need, but you are welcome to bring furniture or decorative items that add to making it a home.
I'm Kate, I'm moving out of the apartment as the time has come to move in with my boyfriend!
James is the person staying and is a 35 yr old male; is a local Melbournite who works in Advertising. He is clean, reliable, friendly, responsible and has been a great Flatmate and friend to me since we've lived together.
James leads a healthy lifestyle, keeps fit, is really hardworking and passionate about his career. He is happy keeping to himself but is always up for watching a movie or chilling out in the house and chatting. He is happy to have a wine or two at home but this house is not a party house.
