An unfurnished bedroom in an East Melbourne two-storey apartment is available, tada! It’s situated in a peaceful cul de sac of English style buildings and well-kept greenery.
The whole apartment is cleared at present, as we move in on the 21st July and will get appliances and furniture then. However, the room can be rented with furnishings for $260/week (bed, desk and chair)
Bathroom shared with one other person
Ducted heating system
Brand new carpets
Mirrored wall in living area
Undercover garage parking is available
Outdoor swimming pool
Small basic gym + spa room.
8 minute walk to CBD/free tram zone.
5 minute walk to Jolimont station.
1km to East Melbourne Library.
Surrounded by many parks.
Nearby Yarra Park, Yarra River, MCG, Rod Laver Arena, Birrarung Marr, Fitzroy Gardens, Richmond, Botanic Gardens, The Tan, Theatres, Markets, etc.
Other housemates are two girls who work full-time in the city, Coco and myself, Meg. I’m 22-years old moving to Melbourne for a consulting job at an accounting/tax services firm. I’m responsible, love a good joke or an interesting story and like keeping my room organised and clean. My hobbies include badminton, jogging, learning asian languages and latte art. Coco is 26 years old and works in management consulting. She enjoys hanging out with her friends, trying new restaurants and learning computer languages.
We are looking for a third housemate who is: a non-smoker, clean and tidy, respectful of other cultures, fairly sociable, up for long-term stay (12 months or more), pays bills on time, responsible with chores etc.
We hope for the apartment to be more like a homey thing, where everyone can come back and be relaxed in each other’s presence. Chatting on sofa, watching the odd movie, sharing a few dinners or having friends round occasionally is ideal. However, wild parties or inconsiderate housemates are not what we’re looking for.
