Lovely 3 bedroom Victorian terrace house in Fitzroy.
The house: The house is a great place in the heart of Fitzroy, yet not so central that you will be kept awake at night! A well-renovated, Victorian terrace house, with a mixture of polished floorboards and carpeted rooms. The house is fairly furnished although contributions are very welcome. The room itself is unfurnished. The kitchen has a dishwasher and gas cooking. Installed heating/air-conditioning in central areas caters for all seasons. The bathroom is shared however has plenty of space and a large separate laundry and a separate outhouse provide good flexibility for domestic routines. A private, low-maintenance courtyard out the back is great for some quiet relaxation!
The location: Set in arguably a perfect location, it is a few minutes stroll from the 11, 86 & 96 Tram, Brunswick street cafes and shops, an IGA and Fitzroy pool. Less than a 10 minute stroll to Coles, several gyms and yoga studios, the rest of Brunswick street cafes, restaurants and bars and more bus options. The city is walkable in 30-40 min and cyclable in 10-20 minutes.
The room is available from the 6th of October but our housemate whose leaving can be flexible. Ideally looking for someone who will stay for longer than six months and must be willing to go onto the lease.
Your new flatmates:
Hi, I'm Corinne. I'm 32 and have recently moved to Melbourne. I work full-time in a job that I love and enjoy the usual things like photography, Larry David, yoga, reading and Peaky Blinders. It's important to me that I'm a considerate, pleasant and tidy person to live with.
I'm Jon, in my early 30s, I am originally from the UK and have very recently moved to Melbourne from Beijing. I work here as an English teacher, Mon-Fri 8-4. I also enjoy photography, painting and cooking. In my free time I've been exploring Melbourne and enjoying the many activities that this city has to offer, I like to travel when I can. People say I am down to earth, easy going and social.
Our new flatmate:
We are hoping to meet someone friendly, reliable and considerate, who would be up for sharing the odd dinner or drink now and then.
