Master bedroom. Has its own built-in mirror wardrobe, along with a ceiling fan. Partial view of bushland from room, while the shared balcony has a north-facing view of the beach, city, and mountains. Cozy and warm, even in winter. Comes with its own queen-sized bed (not the one pictured) but we can easily put that in storage if you have your own bed you want to bring.

Sunny top floor apartment walking distance (1km) from Maroubra beach, with 397 bus stops within a 1 minute walk, roughly 25 minutes bus trip to UNSW; city ~40 minutes. Within 5 minute walk: 317 to Eastgardens or Bondi Junction. As well, there is a Woolworths and other shops at South Maroubra Village a few minutes' walk away. If you walk down to the beach (takes under 10 mins) you can catch a lot more busses to other parts of the city, Randwick, Coogee, etc.

Kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and a 4-burner gas stove-top. There's plenty of room on our balcony for more plants if you're interested in fresh herbs.

Shared bathroom includes a spa bath and shower, with a separate toilet.

Pets (including birds) are very welcome, but keep in mind that it is an apartment.

Photos are a little bit outdated, we now have new aluminium-framed windows and balcony door. The room available also has curtains now instead of blinds.

Flatmates

My name is Juliet and I am a 19 year old second-year UNSW science/fine arts student. Although I do spend a lot of time in my room, I wouldn't mind making a new friend!

I have two pets at the moment, Enzi and Santino. Enzi is a funny red-bellied parrot who spends most of his time in my room whenever I'm home, while Santino is a quiet, tiny talpacoti dove, and it's easy to forget that he's there.

Our other flatmate is currently a young Brazilian woman who works as a chef and is studying English.
