This apartment is conveniently well located for students and those working in the city:
- 20 minutes from UNSW by public transport
- 15 minutes from CBD by public transport
It's also surrounded by all the shops and services you might need:
- located on Gardeners Road, so only a few minutes walk to the chemist, cafes and takeout places, newsagency and Post Office
- 10 minutes walk to Eastlakes Shopping Centre which has Woolworths, Aldi and many other independent shops
- close to two large parks with ovals
The room available is large, airy and very sunny as there is window facing out onto Gardeners Road. (There are excellent light-blocking curtains if you prefer the dark). It comes unfurnished although the living room, dining room and kitchen are all fully equipped so you only need to bring a bed and maybe somewhere to hang your clothes.
The living room is an excellent hangout space as we have a couch and a few armchairs to relax in after a long day. It's also where the heater lives so it's very popular in winter. The flat also has a small balcony which has a beautiful lookout over the rest of Rosebery and Mascot, especially at sunset and sunrise.
I'm Logice, a recent UNSW graduate looking to save up to travel later this year.
Your two wonderful new flatmates will be Emily and Jane.
Emily is a tutor at UNSW who is about to finish her PhD on the represention of girlhood in animation. If you are a film enthusiast whether for teen, horror or historical films, you will always have a willing partner in crime. She makes a brilliant cup of tea which is especially comforting in winter.
Jane is a student at UTS. She is also a writer and has supplied the household with bookshelves of books. On the Fridays and weekends, she will usually be out working.
