Newly renovated period home with all things retro and vintage. Comfortable queen bedroom, there is a new bed, mattress and some furniture, totally negotiate if you don't need it. The location is short walk to the hospital and Bendigo town centre. Based in the heart of Bendigo we are also close to the Art Gallery, Lake Weronna and are surrounded by lots of bars, restaurants and cafes. There is amazing coffee at Percy and Percy Cafe, just a 30 second walk away.
This is a queer friendly household. I am looking for someone who is clean, tidy and respects the space as a home. Length of stay etc is negotiable but would prefer someone for the long term.
I am Irish and have lived in Australia for the last 4 years. I've recently moved to Bendigo from Melbourne to start up a new health promotion service working with the LGBT community across the Loddon Mallee.
I spend most of the week in Bendigo and work on an Aboriginal project in Melbourne on Fridays. I also have a one year old Golden Retriever called Dharma who lives between Melbourne and Bendigo. I spend most weekends at my partners place in Melbourne.
I enjoy eating out, spending time with my partner and my dog Dharma. in my spare time I enjoy keeping small tropical community fish tanks.
My ideal housemate would give my fish and plants the TLC they deserve when I am not around. I've also toyed with the idea of having some backyard chooks!
