Hi, I am looking for someone to take over my lease as I need to move back to sunshine coast to look after my mother for family health reasons.
The rooms are spacious and have a lot of storage available. The common kitchen/lounge area has most of the basic utilities you will need (microwave/kettle/toaster/etc...) so all you will need to bring is cookware and dining ware.
On the first floor, there is a gym, 24 hour laundry area, barbeque place, games area, media room, study room and an outdoor area where accommodation activities take hold.
Typically, you will be sharing a bathroom with only one other person or you can ask if you can 'upgrade' to an en-suite for an additional price and even extend the lease beyond 6 months if you wish to.
If you find that the internet is not enough data for you, there are other packages available, just ask the receptionists or the RA's for assistance and they'll show you how to use the account management site.
(It is where you top up your swipe card with money to use the laundry and select any entertainment/internet packages that you may wish to have)
- 15GB Internet (included in rent)
- King Single Bed with built in storage
- Box Shelves
- Desk Drawer
- Study table, swivel chair and desk lamp
- Pin board
- Air conditioning
- Full length mirror
It is 5 minutes walk to the QUT - Gardens Point Gate and Bus stop and a further 5 minutes to any of the classes in campus (Basically, leave 10-15 minutes before class, it's pretty convenient)
There are shuttle buses that take students from Gardens Point to Kelvin Grove for free as long as you have a student ID. They take 10 minutes to get there but do not make any stops along the way.
From Gardens Point, wait at stop 95 A for the '391'. There is a timetable included at the stop.
If you're interested please message me...
The pictures show the types of rooms available (Which means you probably won't have the same flatmates I have). You don't have to have the exact same room that I have, you can choose which one and which floor you want (must ask the receptionist when choosing a room).
Each room basically looks the same however with the only differences being:
- Different bedroom layout (Day-bed by the window or bed next to the door with desk at the window)
