Come and live in lovely North Lyneham, less than a 20-minute cycle to ANU and the city (if you pedal hard!) along excellent bike trails with gallahs, cockatoos, corellas and parrots galore.
A room is available in a split-level three-bedroom townhouse that backs onto the Lyneham Ridge. The house has two living areas, a good-sized kitchen, large east-facing balcony with Mt Ainslie and Mt Majura views, air-conditioning in bedrooms and lounge, gas heating in common areas, a front courtyard and back garden.
The available room is medium-sized (3mx3m) and comfortably fits a queen-sized bed and desk/table with a large window facing the eucalypt trail to the west. You would be sharing a bathroom (with bath and shower) with one other person.
The pictures show the view from the townhouse balcony, the kitchen, bathroom, living areas and the room itself.
You would be living with two awesome people in their late 20s. Housemate #1 Luke brews beer and is doing a PhD in anthropology at ANU. Housemate #2 Madeleine works in government and loves ultimate frisbee.
The ideal housemate for our abode is considerate, fun and has lived in a sharehouse before. Mature students and workers are both welcome. The previous housemate is taking the microwave, and router so if you have any of those appliances you get bonus points!
