This room is great for international students, interstate students and students living in Melbourne. This room may not seem as much, but I have had so many amazing times in this room, it has an amazing view of the city skyline and carlton neighbour hood. There is an amazingly affordable, delicious Chinese restaurant literally down stairs - with the best dumplings! There is also an amazing Japanese restaurant downstairs next to the Chinese restaurant. The UniLodge has an amazing multicultural community very welcoming and friendly. This room is on the top floor so you do have the amazing view! The ground floor has, Foxtel, Stan, Netflix, Table Tennis, foosball table, and a pool table, which is amazing fun and you make great friends through these games. There is a heater in the room, a desk, and single bed, a wardrobe, multiple draws, a sink and a medicine cabinet. There is a coined laundry machine on the floor level of the building. There is a shared kitchen and bathroom, however you still get your privacy and space. There is a a BBQ and veggie/herb garden in the outside patio, which is beautiful and a great place to unwind and chill out. The amazing lygon street is 2 minuets away, which has delicious and amazing Italian and Lebanese food. The dentist is next door to the UniLodge, and the doctors (bulk bill) and Woolworths is along lygon street which is 2 minuets away. The tram stop is directly across the UniLodge, which also Melbourne Uni is across the street, and you can take any tram from the tram stop down to RMIT uni (which is the uni I go to) and it takes 5 minuets to get there. So in a sum this is a great place to live in, you have your own space, however you will be part of a great community and close to everything!
Even though it says in the listing that there is one flatmate - You won't have any flatmates because this is a studio apartment or more similar to a dorm room system, were you would have your own room, however share a bathroom and kitchen - each of the other people and students on your level are incredibly friendly, cultural diverse and respectful of everyone, they make delicious food you can have dinners in the kitchen dining table.
