Beautiful light and spacious flat in the heart of Balaclava. Perfect living spot - far enough out of the city without losing it's proximity. We have the most amazing cafes littered down Carlisle Street, close to the beach (20min walk), and transport links (<5mins) to get you everywhere you need to be.
Flat itself is 3 bedrooms. Large living and dining area, kitchen and a balcony. There is one bathroom, and one washroom - this means you won't get caught short if someone is using the shower/bath! There is a separate laundry room and a garage for storage. Flat is furnished through existing flat members and has heaps of storage throughout.
The room itself is a double bedroom. Large enough for a double / queen bed and a desk. It has built in robes (BIR) and a large window complete with sun blinds and black out blinds. There is currently no bed.
Bills are excluded but very reasonable. Bills include internet ($20pcm), gas and electricity (c.$30pcm)
Transport: Trams 3, 3a and 16 (to St Kilda and City) are at the end of the road (2mins), and only 5 walk to Balaclava train station (Sandringham Line).
Things to do: The beautiful and trendy St Kilda with it's cake shops (check out Acland Street), restaurants, bars and beach, is only a 20 min walk or less on tram. Albert Park sits just further out at 3.5km but is a perfect way to pass a gorgeous day away by the lake. Similarly the hip and trendy Chapel Street with it's shops, markets, cafes, restaurants, bars and nightlife hangs just off Carlisle Street - take a 20 min walk to where it all gets busy, jump the train down one stop or tram down Chapel. If that's not enough jump one of the transport links into the city or its surrounding suburbs.
You will be sharing with two others - Mark and Julia.
Mark is 34 (British), professional, works in City, sometimes has to fly interstate. Hobbies include: Travel, live music and events, sports - I like to keep myself busy!
Julia is 24 (Canadian), professional, works on Carlisle. Enjoys travel, and generally most things!
We like to socialise which means our weekends are usually as busy as our midweeks. Café culture for sure, and partial to a few cold ones to celebrate another week being in this beautiful country.
Looking for someone similar. Professional, easy going, enjoys socialising, is clean and respectful. Not sure what more we can ask for...
