The residence features a range of fully furnished, self-catered single rooms. With features like sky lounges, an exciting residential life program and 24-hour support, the Queen Mary Building is the place to be to make the most of your time at the University of Sydney.

Enjoy your own space
Our single rooms are great for settling down for some quiet time. Rooms come fully furnished with a bed, wardrobes and study area with access to shared bathrooms on each floor. You’ll even get your own mini fridge to stash away some midnight snacks!

Single Room
Single rooms offer a private living space with a king single bed, study area and access to communal bathrooms on each floor. As an added bonus, you’ll also get 10GB of free internet data to get you started (additional data can be purchased).

Rooms include:

king single bed
bedside cupboard
study desk with chair
overhead shelving
desk lamp
mini refrigerator
electric heater

Fantastic residential life events
We provide much more than just a room. At the Queen Mary Building, we believe that uni life should be balanced. We make sure to provide plenty of events to help you meet new people, support your studies and learn new things.

Right on campus
Short of setting up camp in your lecture theatre, we’re one of the closest you’ll get to living right next to your classes. You’ll be able to roll out of bed and be in class within 10 minutes!

Great facilities
Cook up a storm in the communal kitchen, get some assignments done in the study room and hang out with friends in the common lounges. With facilities like these, there’s no excuse to be bored!

Independence all the way
We don’t like to tell our residents what to do, what to eat and when to come home. That’s why we provide an independent, self-catered living environment (with support available if necessary). Just like in real life, there are measures in place to make sure residents act responsibly. Our Village Rules help to keep everything in check.

Safety and security
Our staff are here around the clock to provide a helping hand, whether you’re locked out of your room or just need some support. We’re also big on safety. We have CCTV coverage, a 24-hour staff presence, electronic card access to rooms and intermittent campus security patrolling the site.

I have been living here for 1 year and a half. This is a great family where you get to make friends from literally all over the world. Like I have friends from all continents. Gym is free. It's a great start if you want to try working out but have been hesitating. A free gym is exactly what a beginner need. If you really are a beginner, I can be a private coach (voluntarily). If you are a hard-working student, the study room is just for you. Same computer system with the ones in the university learning hub, all you need is your unikey. Theatre for movie. Music room for piano practice. You can borrow bass, acoustic and electric guitars at the reception. Also, all sorts of sports equipment are available too, ranging from basketball, football, badminton, table tennis, squash etc. Most importantly, these are all free.
What I can say is, this is really a place you don't want to miss out! It IS a colourful life. I am going to graduate now. That's why I am posting this advertisement, on behalf of the Sydney Uni Accommodation. This is not a sublease. You will sign contract with the University of Sydney, officially.
This opportunity is for University of Sydney student only.
