What's great? Well, there's NBN and Foxtel included in the rent and your shared bathroom with our other flatmate is big enough to run laps in.
The house is a two minute walk from several bus stops, so easy access to Penrith and Penrith Station.
The room has a built-in wardrobe and queen sized bed ready to go. Kitchen fully equipped and the bar functions more than adequately....
You'll also become part of a pack. I have three dogs, all wonderful and snuggly with people, but unless you like getting licked and smothered with puppy love when you get home, perhaps this is not the place for you. Every so often I may ask you to feed the pups of an evening if I'm running late and you're home, that's the trade-off for having all bills and internet included in the $250. You'll get puppy love, so that seems more than fair...!
The neighbours are fantastic and always pop in for a quiet drink or two and to watch whatever sport is going on that evening.
I am the owner of the property and the dogs are essentially my children. I work for a liquor company in the city so leave early and sometimes return late - but because of my job, there's always beer in the bar fridge. There is usually always sport on in the lounge room or punk rock music. Sometimes both.
My girlfriend stays over frequently, she and I will always be around laughing at one thing or another.
We enjoy a nerdy games night every so often with some of the funniest people you'll ever meet, but even with a full bar fridge, this is not a party house.
The room is available now so, essentially, if you like comics (and all other nerdy things like board games and RPGs...), sport, dogs & punk rock - you might just fit in well.
