My housemates are moving out at the end of the current lease (one of them has to go back to France, and the other for financial reasons), so I have two rooms available!
This unit is located in one of the most convenient and lively districts in Brisbane - part of the reasons why I moved here! Within a 5 minutes walking distance, you have the James Street Market, the Emporium, the Gasworks Shopping District, public transportation, the Newstead "fitness district", and other quaint and chic cafes and bars for you to explore (such as the famed Campos Cafe, Chester Street Bakery and La Macelleria Gelateria). New Farm and Fortitude Valley is only 10 to 15 minutes' walk away too!
This place is pet friendly for a small animal (up to 6 kg). We have a timber deck which comes with a BBQ where we sometimes invite friends over for a nice lunch or dinner. The unit complex as a lap pool where you can have a quick dip during a hot summer's day too. Street parking outside the unit is available with $10 permit from council.
The whole unit is fully furnished, equipped with dishwasher, gas stove, microwave and conventional oven in the kitchen, and a laundry and dryer. The living room has a huge Sony Smart TV with internet connectivity (yes, you can watch Netflix and listen to Spotify on it!). Internet (unlimited high speed ADSL2+ internet unlimited with TPG), gas and electricity bill is included in the rent.
The room is fully furnished with drawers, a queen bed, and built-in wardrobe. You will be sharing a bathroom/toilet with the other new roommate.
You will be sharing the apartment unit with an 29 YO Australian male of Asian background who likes to cook yummy Asian food.
Bond will be 4 week's rent, plus 1 week's advance rent. 4 week's bond will be 800. This is calculated by deducting $20 each room for utilities.
The new lease will be until late Oct 2018.
You will be living with a very friendly guy:
1. Dean - foodie, meditator, and fitness enthusiast (Crossfit, water polo) and is a civil engineer.
