I just signed a lease for an apartment and due to changes in my circumstances, I will not be around often here in the next couple of months to actually stay in it. It is now fully furnished with everything that you need (bed, mattress, bedside tables, bedside lamps, beddings, sofa bed, coffee table, TV, balcony chairs, dining table and chairs, kitchen cooking utensils and cutlery, refrigerator, washing machine). At this point, I am not entirely sure when or if I am going to stay here next year, and so I will inform my real estate agent that you will stay in the apartment temporarily, as my housemate, even though you will be the only one staying in there. That way, you don't need to sign the lease. You'll still need to provide a bond of $1,950 to me. If you love the apartment so much, and I won't be staying in Southbank anymore after our initial arrangement, which is very likely, you'll be free to take over my lease, and we can discuss the furniture. You just need to undergo the usual application process.
The advertised rent only covers the furnished apartment. Bills are not included. I will send you the invoices as they come. If you want it to be more convenient and you do not want to worry about this, you can just include a fixed utilities fee of $40 on top of the weekly rent, and I'll handle all of them myself. The internet connection is not set up because I've been just using my mobile internet and it was enough for me. So, you would need to arrange for that, depending on your internet needs. If you need a car space, it will be extra $50/week.
To arrange an inspection, please send me a message with a brief introduction about yourself (name, age, what you do for a living, interests and hobbies, preferred date and time for the inspection). As of now, I can let you inspect from October 4 to 6, 5:30PM onwards.
