We live right on the 48 tram line which will take you into the city within 20 minutes, the 109 line is about a 5 minute walk away from the apartment too. The apartment is fully furnished (except your bedroom), with fridge, washer etc. If you have your own furniture, you're welcome to bring it along with you. Your bedroom has access to the balcony, large windows and a built-in robe. The apartment is super close to Swinburne University, Kew Junction, Glenferrie Road Hawthorn, Bridge Road and Victoria Street in Richmond. We're also a short stroll from the Yarra, which means lovely walks in the summer. The complex and area we live in is really nice and quiet, but we're only a ten minute walk from pubs and restaurants on Bridge Road.
I would love to stay on at the house, but I've been offered a job in Sri Lanka and couldn't pass up an opportunity like that! That being said, we all work full time, and you would be living with Zoe, a high school teacher who will also be moving out in next couple months, and Rohan, an apprentice mechanic. Rohan is a mixed bag, he's done a degree in Fashion Design and is also studying Engineering part-time, he also works for a Formula 4 team on the weekends and plays competitive sports, he's a pretty busy person but he's always down to chat when he's at home.
We're looking for someone who is clean (we share the housework) and can pay rent/bills reliably and is down to watch terrible TV and eat dessert. We don't mind if you're a student or professional.
