After much deliberation we decided that Sophie the cat needed to start pulling her weight, so we're making her former room available.
It's 2.5m by 3m plus built in wardrobe and other fun things like windows and air-conditioning. Plus a view of the huge backyard.
Rent is $150 a week. Internet is unlimited for $15 month, and power bills are split evenly between the humans because Sophie refuses to get a job. Honestly, snowflake felines nowadays making excuses about not having thumbs. ugh.
The house is a two storey renovated Queenslander on a quiet East Brisbane street. It's right next to the dog park and close to Lytton Road. There's an IGA around the corner and Mowbray Park is a hop and a skip away.
Note: We didn't kick Sophie out, she has decided to move to the downstairs bedroom and pays her dues by being cute and purry.
There are quite a few living things in the house, including Nick who's an engineer, emergency vet Sara and the journalist who wrote this ad. We're all aged between 27 and 31. Cooper and Belle, the two black doggerinos also share the house, which is ultimately run by the cat Sophie. The living things count does not include Sara's half alive house plants.
Sara would prefer our housemate be a horticulturist to deal with her plant crisis. Either way, we'd love someone who clicks with us and the share house we have going on.
We're all social and outgoing but also enjoy downtime. We often have 'Taco Thursdays' , which is an event that includes tacos, on Thursday, together.
If you aren't allergic to cats or over zealous labradors, don't mind giving daily snoot boopings, and are overall a semi-put-together human with a full set of teeth, shoot us a text message or email and tell us a bit about yourself.
